He feigned sympathy. "I'm sure he's in a tight spot after such an awful incident. A dispute involving a worker's death and safety concerns is never easy to resolve.

"I hadn't planned to sell this material in Croinia. But since Mr. Larkin's company has run into problems, I feel I should offer an alternative so the government's research project won't face delays."

Jayson looked at him expressionlessly. "You wasted no time coming to our rescue, Mr. Pryce."

Samson chuckled softly. "I'm simply doing this for everyone's sake."
