Tyler even went so far as to call a moving company and brought them along with him.
Athena was inside sorting through a photo album when the doorbell rang. At a moment like this, who could possibly be visiting?
She glanced at the video intercom and saw it was Tyler.
Her brows knit together—he was the last person she wanted to see right now.
Dragging her feet, Athena opened the door and was surprised to find several men standing behind Tyler.
“What’s going on?”
“You said you didn’t want to move in with me, right? So I brought the movers. You don’t have to do anything—just come with me and let them handle the rest.”
He reached out as if to take her hand, but Athena quickly pulled away.
Her master bedroom still held so many things she didn’t want to part with. The idea of living with Tyler was unbearable.
Tyler had assumed that showing up in person would make her happy, but there wasn’t even a flicker of joy in her expression.
The movers blocked the doorway, awkwardly glancing between the two of them. When neither spoke, one of them ventured, “So, do we start moving, or not?”
Before Tyler could answer, Athena cut in. “This is my home. I’m not moving.”
For a second, Tyler felt like the butt of a cruel joke, and his temper flared. “What’s that supposed to mean, Athena? Have I been too soft on you lately?”
Athena almost laughed out loud at that. It had become his favorite line, but honestly, when had this man ever indulged her?
Maybe it was because of Kerwin—she couldn’t help comparing the two. But aside from that one distinctive mole on his nose and the heart beating in his chest, Tyler and Kerwin had nothing in common.
Still, every time she saw that mole, her resolve would weaken. It was so much like Kerwin’s that sometimes, she felt herself willing to throw away all her principles just for it.
Taking a deep breath and for the sake of that mole, Athena managed a faint smile. “I’m just tired lately. I really don’t want to move. And besides, you never let your girlfriends stay the night, do you?”
“There’s a difference between a girlfriend and a date, you know.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja)
Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson. Also, a little write-up on Jeff (Ian's assistant) love life, too. Thanks, author for updating....
When will get update?...
What is wrong that the author has not updated this novel in over a month or is there somewhere else that I can continue reading the novel from chapter 1951 upwards? Do tell, please. Thanks....
