“Why didn’t you say hi to Heriberto?”

The car had been driving for quite a while. Seeing that Iris didn’t mention Heriberto at all, Aedan brought him up first.

Iris just smiled and asked back, “Do you want me to say hi to him?”

Aedan smiled too, took her hand and kissed it, “Since you agreed to let him meet Zeke and Bella, you all had to get along from now on.”

“Yeah.” Iris nodded. “In front of Zeke and Bella, I got along with him.”

In the manor, Iris had already talked to the butler.

The butler found out that Heriberto was Ezekiel and Isabella’s father, and was pretty respectful to him.

The butler showed him into the main building and said, “Mr. Hale, Mr. Ezekiel, and Miss Isabella were in the playroom with the early education teacher. Do you want to go see them now?”

Heriberto nodded, “Please take me there.”

“Please!” The butler respectfully made a gesture for him to go, and took him to the toy room on the first floor.

Heriberto stood at the door, watching Ezekiel and Isabella playing with Legos inside with two preschool teachers. He didn’t go in to interrupt them right away.

Two people sat on the carpet, seriously studying the Lego in front of them, not noticing his arrival at all.

It was the early education teacher who noticed him.

But the early education teacher didn’t know who he was either, just saw his figure and presence and knew he definitely wasn’t some ordinary guy, so she smiled at him politely and friendly.

Heriberto nodded slightly at the teacher, kind of like saying hi.

He thought, This is how my life is going to be.

Ezekiel finished his work first, looked up and glanced at the door at Heriberto.

His big, dark grape–like eyes blinked, and he didn’t say anything right away. Instead, he looked him over carefully from head to toe.

Heriberto looked Ezekiel up and down, and his excited heart almost jumped out of his throat.

He tried hard to hold back the urge to rush over and hug Ezekiel and Isabella right away and tell them he was their dad.

He kept standing there with good posture, trying to look calm and gentle, letting Ezekiel look him over.

Isabella noticed what Ezekiel did and looked toward the door too.

“Who were you?”

Isabella was different. When she saw Heriberto, she got curious right
