George had already snapped the photo.
It took a moment for Emilia to realize, and she offered a sheepish apology. "Sorry, I wasn't looking at the camera. Can we take another one?"
"Of course!" George replied, clearly delighted.
Emilia turned to face the camera again, letting a gentle smile spread across her face.

The instant camera made its familiar shutter sound, capturing George, Ella, and Emilia—with her mask—together in a single frame.
Emilia watched as George pulled out the developing photo and handed it to her.
She signed it with the name Serena.
Once everything was done, Emilia glanced up at the spot where Tyler had stood just a moment before.
He and Vivienne were already gone.
That corner now looked strangely empty, as if nothing had ever happened there.
Emilia paused briefly, then lowered her gaze, only to meet Theodore's eyes halfway.
He was watching her, silent, and when he noticed her looking back, he turned away and ushered his younger siblings to leave.
Emilia didn't say anything. She simply followed Christian to the waiting van.
The car eased forward through the evening traffic. Filming had gone smoothly today, so they were wrapping up earlier than usual.
Emilia felt better than she had in days—her body no longer as weak as before.
Inside the van, she removed her makeup, took off her mask, and changed into her own clothes.
She remembered what the policewoman had told her—that her car was finally repaired. She mentioned it to Christian, then asked to be dropped off midway.
She planned to pick up her car, then stop by her apartment for a bit.
After all those days in the hospital, she just wanted to go home, if only for a little while.
Christian didn't argue. He let her out at the corner near the dealership.
Emilia watched the van drive off, then made her way into the showroom.
Next to him, Vivienne scrolled through her phone, texting someone, lost in her own world.
Tyler's eyes drifted back to the city outside.
After all these years, the city was still as crowded as ever.
He couldn't help but picture that scene again—the Masked Woman posing for a photo with the Glenn siblings.
He didn't quite know why, but he couldn't stop thinking about her.
She belonged to Christian, after all.
Maybe it was just that, every time he saw her, he was reminded of Emilia.
The car stopped at a red light, the driver braking smoothly.
And maybe, it was this pause that made Tyler think of Emilia again.
His mind wandered back to that twelve-hour ferry ride as they escaped Zephyria.
They had made it to shore in the end.
