Vivienne lunged forward, but Tyler pinned her in place with a single iron grip.
He shot her a cold, accusatory look, then sneered at the man everyone called “Two Bucks.” Without another word, Tyler flipped open her contacts and began scrolling through them one by one.
“Tyler, what are you doing?!” Vivienne shrieked, her voice breaking. “You can’t just go through my phone! That’s my private business!”
Tyler didn’t even glance at her.
He scrolled until he found a familiar contact: Emilia.
He tapped on it.
The message thread was empty—no conversations, not even a single greeting. Only the initial friend request message remained.
But Tyler knew exactly why. Vivienne had deleted the messages. When Emilia had shown him her own records, the timestamp on that greeting matched perfectly.
He’d just scrolled through Vivienne’s chat with Two Bucks; there were no prior messages in the thread. Yet, judging by the things she’d sent Two Bucks, it was obvious they’d spoken before. Which meant Vivienne had a habit of erasing her tracks.
“Tyler, what the hell are you doing?” Vivienne’s panic was slipping through now. She could only yell to keep it together.
Tyler slammed her back against the wall and glared at her, eyes wild with anger. “Did you taunt Emilia? Did you send her those messages?”
“I did not!” Vivienne blurted out, pure denial.
“I’ve seen the messages!” Tyler snarled, teeth clenched so hard his whole jaw trembled. For the first time, he realized just how ugly the woman in front of him could be.
“She made those up—"
“Vivienne!” Tyler exploded, unable to hold back any longer.
“You think wiping your phone is enough? I can have the cloud records pulled, or have your device fully restored. So, you want to confess now, or should I go through official channels?”
Vivienne stared at the terrifying man before her, paralyzed. She’d shown Emilia no mercy in those texts. If Tyler found out—
Watching her hesitate, Tyler pulled out his own phone and called Secretary Jensen.
