Before they could turn and leave, Patricia turned around and slapped Natalie in the face.

She asked, “Didn’t you say Zoey still had designs on Aiden, stringing along Colby while seducing him?

“Didn’t you say you saw how brazenly she tried to get close to Aiden at school, constantly pestering him again and again?

“Now explain to me why Josie just said those things?” Patricia was furious, raising her hand for another slap.

She added, “You said Josie was from the countryside, petty, and unreasonable. But what she just said seemed very reasonable to me.

Every time Patricia thought about Colby ignoring her recently because she disliked Zoey, she grew even angrier.

Lindsey gestured for Josie and the others to wait, then walked over and helped Natalie up.

She said, “The Kinberg and Clem families have always had little to no dealings.

“Your acquaintance with Patricia was coincidental, and your future paths are completely different.
