As Howard was interrogating Alyssa in the Bentley, the tag #YesterdayRevisited LiveAudioQuality drew significant engagement.

Samuel and the rest of Alyssa’s marketing team frowned as they looked on. He hesitated before texting Alyssa to inform her of their situation.

He said, “In the beginning, we reported the commenters to get them banned. But some of them must’ve been professionals. They found others and banded together to make the tag go viral. It’s spread far and wide.

“If we reported and banned them now, it would be obvious that it’s a cover–up. How do you think we should proceed, Alyssa? Here are a few ideas…”

That was how the team worked. They would provide a list of ideas and leave the final decision to Alyssa.

Not long after, Alyssa made her choice.

At the same time, Penta watched in satisfaction as his tag went viral.

Silencing a few people would do the trick. But what if there were countless people discussing it?

As other people began taking an interest, Penta waited for justice to be served.

Yet, new voices appeared.

“They said all this, but I don’t see any concrete evidence presented.”

“Yeah, if they want to prove something, they’ve got to have evidence. It’s getting too easy to defame people these days.”

“You’re right. Clearly, this is Elena’s die–hard fan trying to ensure ‘Yesterday Revisited‘ does better than ‘ Micro Love.‘ It’s frankly disgusting.”

“Ten haters do less damage to an artist’s reputation than one die–hard fan. Does Elena know what you’re doing to her?”

“Perhaps this is the doing of Elena’s marketing team. Haven’t you noticed that this tag seems to have been propelled to go viral?”

“Exactly. Our Aly never fights for things. She only participated in the show to encourage others who are similarly ill. She didn’t do anything, and yet people are trying to drag her name through the mud.”

“The person doing all this must be heartless. Aly’s not even a competitor, and yet she’s being treated in this way. How vile!”

“Celestial Voice” had always been a popular show, but with the added buzz of Alyssa’s impending death, many people tuned in to it.

Most people were on Alyssa’s side. Not only did they pity her, but she was even marketed in a positive light. Combined with the fact that no privately filmed videos of “Yesterday Revisited” had been leaked, it was no wonder that was the case.

This was entirely unrelated to Penta’s initial desires. He’d never even mentioned Alyssa in his initial tag.

He had just found it weird that her performance seemed lackluster in the live stream when it had been so amazing in person. Yet, people were accusing him of being a die–hard, brainless fan of Elena’s who was desperate for Elena to triumph over Alyssa.

As more people clicked into the tag, it quickly came under fire.

Penta was livid. He wanted to explain how he didn’t even know who Elena was under the mask. Why was he now being labelled as a brainless, die–hard fan?

In addition, he liked Alyssa. He never wanted to sully her name!

“No, I simply can’t let this go! Isn’t evidence what they want? I’ll be damned if not a single person recorded the performance secretly. After all, there were so many audience members!”
