Chapter 194
Vachris POV
I left her sleeping.
Hair a mess, lips swollen, thighs trembling, and my seed still tucked deep inside her. Elowen looked like something painted by gods, wrecked, blissed out, and fucking radiant even in exhaustion. I brushed a kiss to her temple, fucked the blankets around her, and slipped out of the suite as quiet as a shadow.
I needed food. And maybe a damn therapist.
The kitchen was lit with soft crystal sconces, a few shadows dancing in the corners. I wasn’t surprised to find the rest of the guys already there. Bram had a turkey leg in one hand and a tankard in the other. Daxon was shirtless, digging into a mountain of roasted potatoes like he hadn’t just wrecked our shared mate an hour ago. Ashrian looked like sex incarnate, lazily sipping blood from a wineglass while licking some lingering trace of Elowen from his thumb. And Lachlan, fuckin‘ Highland menace, had made tea. Tea.
They all looked up as I walked in. Ashrian smirked. “Dragon finally pulled out?”
“Barely,” I muttered, yanking a chair out and dropping into it with a groan. “We’ve got a situation.”
Bram paused mid bite. “What kinda situation?”
I looked around the table, made sure we were alone, then dropped the bomb. “I knotted her.”
Daxon choked on his drink. “What?!”
“She’s not ready to be pregnant,” Bram snapped.
“No shit,” I said dryly. “But dragons… our knots are different. It’s rare. Magical. Only happens when the gods approve the match. I didn’t mean to, but… it happened. When I came.”
Lachlan blinked. “Ye mean tae say yer cock swelled and locked inside her? Like a bloody anchor?”
“Exactly like that.”
Ashrian’s eyes flashed red. “Did you?”
“I came inside her. Yeah.”
The room went silent. Bram set his food down, his jaw tight. “So what, you think she’s pregnant?”
“I don’t know. It’s not a guarantee,” I said, trying not to sound defensive. “But the gods don’t fuck around. That knot? It means something. They don’t let it happen unless it’s… fate.”
Ashrian’s voice was low. “And we weren’t even inside her when it happened. Just you.”
The tension hit like a brick wall. Thick, possessive energy crackled in the air.

Chapter 194
“She’s all of ours,” Daxon said, growling lows. “But yeats, I’m not gonna pretend I don’t want to be the othe
Lachlan took a slow tip of tea. “Age. An” I’d like a chance tee see her glow wi‘ my bairn inside ber, too. No shame in that
“I didn’t plan this,” I said. “It just happened. And if the is pregnant… we’ll raise that child together”
They all went quiet again. Not angry. Just… processing.
“She’d be a hell of a mother,” Bram finally muttered, softer now. “And any kid of hers would be a goddamn force of nature.*
“She is a force of nature,” Ashrian said, his eyes flickering with warmth. “And we’re lucky to worship at her altar.”
“Bet she wakes up hungry for more,” Daxon smirked.
