Rhea didn’t feel pressured. Instead, she was slightly amused. She thought that George was just
adorable.
“Enjoy your breakfast. I’m going home for a bit,” he said before walking off.
“Eat something first!” Rhea called after him, but he didn’t stop.
By noon, Rhea received a call from Elena. “Ms. Ravelle, I’ve moved to Draventh! Can I come visit you sometime?”
“You moved here? Where are you staying?”
“At a hotel,” Elena replied. She gave her the name of the place. It was a hotel under the Ravelle family’s management.
Rhea’s gaze flickered. “I’ll come see you.”
“I’ll be waiting!”
At 1:00 pm, Rhea arrived at the hotel where Elena was staying.
When the hotel manager heard she had arrived, he quickly appeared. “Ms. Ravelle! Are you checking
in?”
“I’m here to see someone,” she replied.
“Who are you meeting? I can take you there.”
“It’s okay. I can manage myself. You go on with your work.”
“Of course, Ms. Ravelle.”
A few minutes later, Rhea pressed the doorbell. Elena quickly opened it. “Come in!”
Rhea blinked in disbelief as she stepped inside. “You brought all this?”
In her line of sight, there were at least a dozen oversized suitcases.
Elena put her hands on her hips. “This is only one–fifth of my wardrobe.”
“Why not get someone to help you? How long will it take for you to sort all this yourself?” Rhea sat
down.

“I’m not used to others doing it. I won’t be able to find anything.” Leaning closer, Elena asked, “Ms. Ravelle, what does Nathan like?”
“Money,” Rhea replied bluntly.
Elena blinked in confusion. “You mean I should pursue him with money?”
She didn’t think that sounded like a good idea.
Rhea suddenly realized something. “You’re going to pursue him?”
“Yeah. I moved here for that.”
Looking at Elena, Rhea said seriously, “If it works out, you’d be marrying far away from home. Have you thought it through?”
Rhea had lived with that kind of distance before and knew how hard it could be.
Even if they were talking about her own brother, she still had to warn Elena.
Elena waved her hand. “If I really marry Nathan, my parents will move here too. Besides, I think Nathan would take responsibility if he chose me. He wouldn’t hurt me, right?”
Just then, her phone buzzed. She picked up her phone and saw a message from Kieran’s man. She looked up sharply and reported, “Ms. Ravelle, Kate has returned to Dalea and is heading to the Snider residence.”
Rhea paused. “How do you know?”
Elena pouted. “I’ve been keeping an eye on things. I’m just trying to help.”
It seemed that Kate was back in Dalea and headed straight for Cynthia.
Rhea stood and said, “I need to make a call.”
At the Snider residence, Kate rushed to hug Cynthia as soon as she saw her. “Mrs. Snider.”
In the living room, Steven frowned slightly and didn’t move forward to greet her.
Just as Cynthia opened her mouth to speak, a car pulled up outside the gates.
Kate turned at the sound. It was George.
After days apart, he still stood tall and composed, holding her gaze captive.
George got out of the car and stepped into the crisp wind before heading into the house. He didn’t
