Holding Phineas‘ hand, she boarded the plane nervously.

“You’re really never flown?” he asked seriously as he led her to a seat in a private jet they’d booked for their flight across the

ocean.

“No.” she was feeling decidedly apprehensive and even Suki’s reassurances when she’d called her earlier were not helping. Suki telling her it was safer than taking the city bus was not helpful.

“Well, it’s much nicer to fly privately than it is to fly commercial but sometimes commercial can be more cost effective. This time though, we wanted some privacy.” He nodded politely to a woman at the back of the plane who was coming towards them and then his eyes narrowed on the way she was swaying her hips too much as she sauntered towards them.

Juniper immediately noted the other woman’s blouse undone one button too far and wondered what kind of flight attendant uniforms looked like this.

“Mr. Perez, welcome back on board. If there is anything you need, please let me know. I’m happy to provide you with anything you might need.”

Juniper immediately disliked the way this woman looked over Phineas. Phineas didn’t even respond to her though. Juniper

watched him as he pulled his phone from his inside pocket while looking the other woman right in the face and dialed out.

“Pete. I need a different flight attendant here.” He watched the woman blanche, “the one you assigned to this flight has her blouse unbuttoned too much while being suggestive and flirty in front of my fiancée. The last thing I want is to put anyone who would disrespect my girl in such a way in charge of our comfort. I don’t care who you get but I’ve never once fucked one of your flight attendants and I have strict protocol, and we haven’t even taken our seats yet and this one is already pissing me off.” He nodded and the hung up the call, “get out.” He waved to the exit of the plane.

“Sir. I –”

“I don’t need your excuses. You can see my fiancée right here with me. You are disrespectful and rude, and I don’t tolerate that shit. Leave.” He looked over his shoulder as Beni and Adil both boarded the plane.

“I didn’t know she was your fiancée.”

“She’s still a woman with me on this plane.”

“What’s going on?” Beni asked curiously.”

“She offered to service me in front of Juniper.”

“I did not.” The woman protested.

“I’m happy to provide you with anythingyou might need,” Phineas mocked her voice, “was not an offer to pour me a coffee. I called Pete and told him to get someone else here now. He has another plane scheduled to go to London in thirty minutes. He’s going to swap the attendants from the flights.”

“Get out,” Beni motioned to the exit. “Grab your bags and get off the plane.”

“Now.” Adil said bluntly.

“All I did was offer to help.”

“All you did was rudely insinuate my needs couldn’t be met by my partner. Again, innuendo isn’t lost on me. If it were, I’d be a shitty businessman. Get off my plane.”

Juniper knew anyone else might feel bad for the attendant but after all the women she’d encountered as of late who seemed to get off on stealing her man, she was out of sympathy. “You heard my fiancé. Leave.” Juniper folded her arms over her chest angrily. “I don’t have the time or the patience for you.”

“I didn’t mean anything by it,” she whispered.

“Yeah you did,” Phineas commented before Juniper could say anything more. “If you don’t get off the flight, my security team which is finishing the flight check with the pilot and the ground crew will throw you off.”

The woman realizing she wasn’t going to win the argument, turned around with tear–filled eyes to pull her carryon bag from an overhead bin, and began dragging her feet towards the exit. She kept looking over her shoulder at the three men standing with their arms folded angrily over their chests while Juniper smirked at her.

The sound of her bag hitting every one of the metal steps made Juniper snicker. She looked at Phineas, “I know some girls would say you didn’t need to do that but I’m really glad you did.”

“Sweetheart, I will always put your comfort ahead of anything and anyone. Never doubt it.” He hooked his elbow around her neck and drew her to him, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

“I’ve done lots of insane shit in my life, but I’ve never fucked a flight attendant on a private plane,” Adil said sharply. “I hope you know it’s not the kind of behavior we engage in.” He looked at Beni, “our legal advisor would strongly object to any of us sexually harassing a woman on a flight.”

She smiled as she teased Adil, “what you’re saying is you were tempted but you worried about a lecture from Beni.”

“No!” he yanked her out of Phineas‘ embrace and slapped her backside earning a gasp from her lips, “I’m saying I’m an educated man who knows better than to put a woman in a situation where she feels she’s got to blow me to get paid.” He
