Chapter 117 Leave The Lidell Residence
“Our new models are here.” Nancy stepped into the room, and everyone immediately looked
over.
They assumed the last-minute models would be nothing special, but they’d be better than nothing. They were bracing themselves for disappointment, but the moment they saw the faces of those women, their jaws dropped, and their eyes filled with disbelief.
“Wait! Are they Orphy Lloyd and Meghan Siphor?”
These were the top models in Riversdale who had walked shows for major luxury brands!
Emily blurted, “Ms. Moore, pinch me! I must be dreaming.”
Nancy obliged and pinched her cheek.
Emily yelped, then practically shook with excitement. “I’m not dreaming. It’s really them! Oh my God, Ms. Moore! How did you pull this off?”
“This isn’t the time for that. Have them get changed,” Nancy urged.
“Right, right.” The designers were ecstatic. Having top models wear their clothes was a true
honor.
The room buzzed with renewed energy.
Nancy then led Violet into the next room to change, along with Hillary.
After Hillary finished and tidied up, she looked at Nancy with a teasing smile. “I heard everything just now.”
“So?” Nancy stayed calm.
“Aren’t you moved? Mr. Fuller even thought of details like this. He’s clearly paying close attention to you!” Hillary said.
Nancy lowered her gaze. After a few seconds, she said evenly, “Gideon is sharp and quick- witted. It’s no wonder he can run Fuller Group so perfectly.”
Hillary was rendered speechless. “Sure, Gideon’s sharp, but not about little details like this. Only someone who actually cares about you would notice. I’d bet anything that he’s into you!”
“Enough. We’ll talk later. You’re closing the show, so focus,” Nancy cut her off.
Hillary frowned slightly, sensing something off with Nancy. But with the show about to begin,

she let it go.
Just then, there was a knock at the door.

Nancy opened it to see Regina, with a few models behind her who looked no different from regular women.
“These are models I managed to gather at the last minute, so none of them are famous. Just make do. They’re better than nothing,” Regina said coolly.
She paused, clearly expecting gratitude.
“Sorry, but I told you that I don’t need them,” Nancy replied coldly.
Regina’s expression darkened. “You think they’re not good enough for you? Given the situation, we’re lucky to have found anyone at all! Nancy, why are you being so stubborn?”
She had actually put effort into finding them. If it had been Raine, she would have been thrilled. But Nancy dismissed her efforts without a second thought.
“That’s enough, Mom. If she doesn’t want them, then forget it.” Fergus strode over in a sharp blue suit, his gaze on Nancy laced with pure
malice.
Ever since Nancy had him thrown in jail, he’d held a grudge.
Regina had warned him not to cause trouble, but he had no intention of letting it go.
“She probably knows she can’t beat Raine, so she’s already giving up. Mom, all your wasted.” He sneered in disdain.

Nancy’s gaze remained calm. “Forget about me and Raine for a second. What right do you have to speak? You already lost your place as an heir.”
“You” Fergus’ anger flared. He almost raised a hand at her, but remembering her strength, he backed down. Instead, he glared at her coldly.
“The heir will definitely be Raine, which means everything belongs to us. Nancy, you should just surrender now instead of wasting the family’s resources.”
“Too bad for you, but I’ll be the one winning this time.” Nancy’s eyes remained emotionless.
That dismissive confidence, as if no one else mattered, made Fergus’ rage boil over. “Are you that confident? How about a bet, then?”
