Chapter 58 You Must Be Ms. Quinn

The property was so expensive that the transaction couldn’t be completed overnight. Still, the buyer did not hesitate and immediately transferred a 60-million-dollar deposit.

With the money now in her account, Catherine felt no rush and began assembling her team for the new office. She was pleasantly surprised when Cecilia called, expressing a desire to join her.

Cecilia had been her assistant for over a year, and they worked together seamlessly. Catherine often forgot things, but Cecilia always anticipated her next move with uncanny precision.

When Catherine first left her old company, she had considered bringing Cecilia along, but her new venture wasn’t ready yet. Hence, the idea was put on hold.

Now, Cecilia’s call had come at the perfect moment.

“Of course, you’re welcome here. When can you start?” Catherine asked with a smile, idly twirling a pen in her hand.

Cecilia laughed. “I wish I could just fly over right now.’

“You can,” Catherine teased, sending her the address.

After grabbing lunch at a nearby restaurant, Catherine escorted Cecilia to the company.

Cecilia’s eyes widened in surprise. “Ms. Quinn, your company is even bigger than Seraphis Group! I had no idea you were this capable. You shouldn’t have stayed there and put up with all

that nonsense!”

Catherine nodded and led her to the lab, where she introduced her to Kyle and the other key

When Catherine first approached them, they had offered their help out of respect for her late

father.

All she needed to do was find a way to raise more funds.

If the bank loan had gone through, she could have avoided the difficult decision to sell her property. The property tax alone would exceed 20 million dollars, and she wouldn’t have to endure the long, drawn-out sales process.

Catherine rested her chin in her hand, realizing she had no other choice.

As she and Cecilia were leaving the building, a man suddenly ran up and blocked her path. ” You’re Ms. Quinn, right?”

Catherine nodded. The man before her was Henry Chase, one of Kyle’s students, and the woman tugging at his arm, Fiona Vaughn, was also his student.

“What can I help you with?”

Henry scratched the back of his head. “I just wanted to meet the person the professor said has the experimental data for the targeted drug. I didn’t expect you to be so young.”
