Chapter 79 Maybe Someone Else Is Setting Catherine Up

Harry rushed to the hospital in a panic.

He finally arrived at Catherine’s hospital room around 2:00 pm, disheveled and out of breath. The first thing he saw was Jeremy sitting by her bedside.

Harry’s heart raced as he asked, “How is she now?”

Jeremy didn’t even bother to look up. His voice was flat as he asked, “Do you even care what happened to her?”

When Harry moved a little closer, Jeremy suddenly shot up and grabbed him by the collar. He slammed Harry hard against the wall, the thud of his body ringing sharply.

Harry groaned. “Who says I don’t care about her? She’s carrying my child.”

Jeremy’s face twisted with rage. “Child, child—is that all you ever care about? Harry, you’ve ruined Catherine. I never should have let her go to you.”

Harry met Jeremy’s furious gaze and said, “I was in a coma this whole time. I don’t know what happened to her.”

Jeremy’s voice was cold as he grabbed Harry and threw him out of the hospital room. “If you don’t know, then go find out!”

As soon as Jeremy finished speaking, he slammed the door shut.

Harry staggered back several steps and stared at the tightly shut door. The weight in his chest grew heavier.

He pulled out his phone and called Adrian, instructing him to find out how Catherine ended up being splashed with paint.

Just as he put down the phone, an irritated voice sounded behind him. “Harry, what are you doing here?”

Harry turned around and saw Eleanor. He knew she was close to Catherine, but the thought of her being Jeremy’s sister made his tone grow cold. “What I’m doing here is none of your business.”

“I haven’t even asked what makes you think you have the right to be here! If it weren’t for that damned cousin of yours and your ridiculous first love, Catherine wouldn’t even be hurt!”
