"Celeste, my script got approved!" Trisha said.

Celeste had just gotten out of the shower when Trisha excitedly called her.

Celeste was both surprised and happy, saying, "It got approved so quickly?"

Just yesterday, Trisha was still revising the script, and it got approved in one go.

"Yeah, I'm surprised too. When I submitted it this morning, I was prepared to make revisions again. But I just got a call saying the script was approved, and they want me to sign the contract next week." Trisha said.

Celeste tied her hair up and asked, "How much do you think it'll sell for?"

"I'm not sure yet, but I guess it'll be around a million or so." Trisha said.

"If this script gets turned into a movie, will you be the screenwriter?" Celeste asked.

"It's not that easy. These film companies usually stock up on copyrights first, and when they'll actually start filming depends on their schedule. For those big-name authors, they usually start filming within two years after signing. For people like us who aren't famous, they might not even film it before the copyright expires. So it’s pretty hard to be the screenwriter." Trisha said.

Celeste was a bit disappointed.

But Trisha was quite optimistic, "Selling it is already a big step forward. I'm still young, and I'm not in a hurry. One day, my scripts will be on TV!"

Celeste laughed and said, "By then, all the best actors and actresses will be fighting to join in your scripts!"

Trisha happily said, "I'll definitely make you my leading lady, and turn you into a superstar, so Liam will bow down to you!"

Celeste's smile faded, "Don't mention him, he's annoying."

Trisha noticed her tone was off and asked softly, "Did you two have another fight?"

Celeste couldn't help but tell Trisha what had happened today.

Afterward, she angrily said, "He's mad about socks? He's just trying to pick a fight with me! I'm so stupid for buying him socks and giving him a reason to argue!"

"Hold on. The lawyer I introduced you to is Liam's childhood friend? The handsome guy who helped you out before?" Trisha asked.

"You and Liam went back to the old house today?" Skyler asked.

Skyler's people were everywhere in the Reed family, so it wasn't surprising that she knew their whereabouts.

So Celeste didn't dare to hide anything, "Mr. Fletcher and Mr. Garcia visited grandma, and she wanted us to accompany her guests."

"Is that all?" Skyler asked.

"We just had a meal together." Celeste said.

She didn't mention Steven giving her a car because it involved Kaylee. Steven had come to the house to thank her but didn't mention Kaylee. Although she didn't know why, she didn't want to ask and bring trouble upon herself.

Skyler went straight to the point, "I heard from Mrs. Kelley that you're pregnant? Wasn't the reason the old lady called you over because of your pregnancy?"

Celeste was shocked.

She didn't expect Skyler to call her about this.
