"Mrs. Kelley must have misunderstood; I'm not pregnant." Celeste said.

Skyler seemed unconvinced, "Mrs. Kelley said both you and Liam admitted to being pregnant. How could that be false?"

Celeste had no choice but to explain, "Mrs. Kelley probably didn't understand what I meant. What I actually said was that we'd share the good news with everyone. We wouldn't hide something as important as pregnancy from you, would we?"

"Martha said you haven't been taking your medicine on time lately. What's going on?" Skyler asked.

The maid was indeed sent by Skyler. Anything from their side would be known by Skyler.

Celeste could only make up an excuse for herself, "The hospital called a while ago, saying my mom's condition wasn't good. I accompanied her for a few days, and I didn't take the medicine during that time. But I've been taking it on time since I got back."
