“Grandpa Albert, from what I know, the authorities will issue a notice within three days to demolish the factory and build a subway. Once that notice drops, the land value will skyrocket–at least triple what Raymond offered.”
“If you develop real estate there, the value will multiply several times over.”
Jacob said calmly.
Albert froze momentarily, then immediately gestured for his subordinate to lean in.
“Check this.”
“Yes.”
Albert didn’t care about the demolition notice itself. What angered him was Raymond pulling tricks right under his nose.
Raymond stared in disbelief at the child barely a few years old.
How could this kid know confidential information?
“Kid, don’t spread rumors. If there’s an official notice, why wouldn’t I know?”
Raymond forced a laugh.
Seeing her husband exposed by a child, Noelle chimed in: “That’s right, kid. Stop making things up.”
She shot Jacob a discreet glare, assuming a child would crumble under pressure.
Instead, Jacob dismissed her outright: “Grandpa Albert, I don’t like her. Can you kick them out?”
Noelle and Raymond froze on the spot.
Three minutes later, both were “escorted” out.
Katherine was thoroughly enjoying the show.
Albert thought Jacob had made up the news about the factory demolition because he disliked the two women, so he asked him: “Jacob, why don’t you like Noelle?”

Chapter324
Before Jacob could answer, the subordinate Albert had dispatched rushed over.

“Mr. Albert, I just had someone investigate. It’s exactly as the young master said. Raymond bought the information beforehand and came to exploit the Robson family.”
The subordinate panted after delivering the report, eyes filled with admiration for Jacob.
How could such a young child be so clever? He actually knew confidential information.
Truthfully, with the Robson family’s resources, obtaining such intel would’ve been simple–but their vast empire couldn’t care less about such trifles.
“Really?”
Albert’s pupils dilated sharply. Seeing the subordinate nod, he immediately clapped Jacob’s shoulder. “My dear great–grandson, how did you learn this?”
The child before him was only four years old.
Jacob realized he’d exposed himself while trying to embarrass Noelle.
He lied: “An uncle told me.”
“Oh.”
Grandpa Albert was a bit disappointed, but then he thought–for a child this young to be so sharp and logical, he must be a prodigy.
“Thanks to my great–grandson here, or else Great–Grandpa would’ve been an easy target.”
Nearby, Katherine watched silently, her eyes skeptical.
Why did she find Jacob’s story so hard to believe?
What uncle would discuss such things with a child? This little schemer lied to an elder without batting an eye, unafraid of being struck by lightning.
After the matter was settled, Grandpa Albert went to rest. Katherine immediately called Maureen, recounting how Noelle’s group had suffered a setback earlier that day.
“You wouldn’t believe how brilliant Jacob was today. Without him, Grandpa Albert would’ve signed the contract with Noelle.”
Maureen knew Jacob was clever–he’d already figured out Geoffrey was his father, so he must know Noelle was his grandmother.

Chapter324
She asked Jacob, “Do you know who that lady you met today is?”
Jacob nodded calmly. “Yes. She’s my biological grandmother.”

Jacob chose his words carefully, only referring to her as his biological grandmother, not directly as his grandma.
Maureen knew he must have learned about Noelle online, and just as she was at a loss for words,
Jacob spoke up again: “Mommy, she treated you badly. I won’t acknowledge her.
If she dares to bully you, just tell me. I’ll protect you.”
Seeing Jacob’s carnest face on the video call, Maureen felt genuinely comforted.
“Don’t worry, Mommy can protect herself. No one can bully me.”
Maureen added, “For now, stay with Aunt Katherine and don’t cause her any trouble.”
Katherine, listening nearby, blushed.
Truth be told, it was she who caused Jacob trouble. Without him, she wouldn’t know how to answer the elders‘ questions.
And her dad only treated her well because of Jacob.
“Don’t worry, Jacob is more sensible than us adults.”
