Chapter135.
‘As Anya, I want to move into the Perez’s villa with you, openly and without a hitch.”
Allen’s response was immediate, laced with excitement. “Excellent! Don’t you worry about a thing. Tyrell and I have everything handled.”
After ending the call, a flicker of confusion crossed my mind. How could everything still be under Tyrell’s control?
Did he have a hand in this too?
Who exactly was Tyrell?
He couldn’t just be a university professor. Yet, I knew so little about him.
I quietly sent Allen a message, instructing him to dig up absolutely everything he could find on Tyrell.
Why did Tyrell get so close to Allen?
Why did he seem so eager to see me?
He went out of his way, reminiscing about our school days, his attention unwavering.
Allen’s loyalty felt questionable. He seemed content to let me discover Tyrell’s attentions on my own, making no move to inform me.
He was clearly not telling me about Tyrell. That settled it. I would take control of this revenge myself. Caitlyn and Leland would be left with nothing.
However, the late hour caught up with me. Despite having had plenty of rest, a fresh reserve of energy surged within me, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Just then, a text message pinged on my phone.
“Anya, is it right to call you that? I’m just letting you know the company situation is exploding. Everyone’s glued to the drama.”
It was Denise. A small smile touched my lips. “Denise, stick to your role as Design Department Manager. I’ve made it clear: no one can fire you without
my say-so.
“Oh, and you might be getting a promotion soon. I intend to hand the company over to you and Efrain to manage. By the way, you two seem rather well-suited. Have you thought about settling down?”
