Chapter176.
In an instant, I lost all my strength and collapsed to the ground. I couldn’t even shout. I felt lifted and was stuffed into the trash bin by the cleaning lady.
Then, during the turbulence, I fainted.
More than ten minutes passed. Allen and Tyrell realized that I had not returned. They sent the lobby manager to the restroom to look for me.
They only found my phone. Tyrell went to the surveillance room hurriedly.
When they noticed that odd black trash bin, I had already been transported to an abandoned building in the suburbs.
It was said that this building was abandoned here due to paranormal events. It was only halfway built, yet every day it was strangely bustling with vehicles coming and going.
I was awakened by the sewer-like smell. When I lifted my head, I was confused.
Who hated me so much to hang me over a stinking gutter? That was unacceptable.
I looked at the square water canal below, black bubbles emitting a foul smell. The smell was so strong that I couldn’t even open my eyes.
I was actually tied up with my hands and feet and hung above the canal, with my feet barely able to land on a crossbeam. It was dark. Bugs and flies buzzed around.
Was it on the first floor?
Or the basement floor?
I couldn’t see anything around me except for the things nearby.
“Help!” I shouted, but a cloth had been stuffed into my mouth.
Caitlyn had once tried to pay someone a large sum of money to kill me, but I survived.
Was Leroy going to fulfill his promise and kill me?
It must be something like that; otherwise, I wouldn’t have been brought here.
Did they just leave me alone? Why didn’t I see anybody around?
My hands were suspended. It felt like they were about to break.
I couldn’t bear it anymore. But I didn’t dare to exert any force on my feet, as they were tied to the crossbeam and would hurt with any movement.
I was anxious and tormented, wondering if I would fall and die.
