Chapter 244
When I returned to Tyrell’s cottage after finishing my medical check-up at the hospital, it was already 10 o’clock at night.
As I entered, I was completely swept away by the luxurious decoration, leaving behind the embarrassment of just falling into a ditch.
I glanced back and saw my Tyrell looking at me affectionately. I awkwardly escaped.

“I went to take a shower first, um, Tyrell, if you have something to do, you can go and attend to it, like if there’s something going on at the company…”
“Sister, are you planning to drive me away?” Tyrell, like a little puppy, touched my hand with a tingling sensation. I quickly withdrew my hand and said, “Um, Tyrell, I’m not used to living with men.”
After saying that, I slapped myself. I have been with Leland for so many years, and I can’t believe I lied without even thinking twice.
Tyrell hugged me directly and said, “Sister, do you believe the words you said yourself?”
I was embarrassed again.
“Hehe, that Tyrell, as for me, sister, I really didn’t plan on starting a second relationship, so…”
I looked at Tyrell’s exquisite features and swallowed my saliva.
Before, I used to find Leland attractive with his mature and stable uncle-like appearance, but now it seems like my taste has changed.
“Sister, are you scared now? After all, you have always been timid. Caitlyn used to bully you so much, and you still didn’t dare to fight back, right?”
I pushed Tyrell away, “Who said that? Tyrell, don’t talk nonsense. The past is the past. Even if in the past, I was heartbroken and unwilling to give up on Leland, but now I am divorced, right?”
Tyrell crossed his arms and said,”Ah! My mom and Nataly must have gathered all the courage they had in their entire lives to confront me today. It’s uncertain what will happen in the future! Even though I didn’t go in to see you talking to Caitlyn, I knew for sure that you couldn’t bring yourself to seek revenge on her!”
