The so–called top female racer of Aldonia, Luna? Turns out she wasn’t all that.

Tonight, Felicity had beaten Luna.

Tomorrow, her name would be on everyone’s lips.

The first curve was coming up fast.

Whoosh!

A black motorcycle shot past Felicity with effortless grace, leaving her far behind in the blink of an eye.

Felicity was stunned.

How had Luna pulled ahead so quickly?

Determined not to be left in the dust, Felicity gunned the throttle and tore after her rival. But with each turn, the gap between them only widened–no matter how hard Felicity pushed.

“Holy crap! Luna didn’t even slow down for that corner!”

“Unbelievable! It’s her first time on this track–she didn’t even warm up!”

“That’s what makes her Aldonia’s number one female racer. She’s terrifying!”

Felicity clenched her teeth so hard she thought she’d break a molar. She couldn’t catch up to Selene no matter what she did. All she could do now was hope her friends would help her out.

From the stands, a water bottle suddenly dropped from above, landing smack in the middle of the track.

At these speeds, even a small pebble could send a racer flying. A full water bottle? Disaster waiting to happen.

The crowd barely had time to react as the heavy bike thundered toward the obstacle. Everyone instinctively thought Selene was going to hit it–no way she’d avoid it at this speed.

Even if the bottle wasn’t dead center, it would force Selene to swerve or slow down. Either way, it would throw her off.

With barely three meters to spare, Selene’s bike leaned hard–thirty degrees to the side.

In a flash, she reached down and snatched the bottle off the asphalt.

Nobody in the stands could process what they’d just seen until–BANGI–the bottle. flew through the air and landed right in a giant trash bin outside the track.

Luna’s bike roared away, leaving the crowd stunned as they finally realized what had just happened.

“Holy shit!!”

“Oh my god!!”

Someone slapped their own forehead, jaw dropping wide enough to swallow an

egg.

Another’s knees buckled–they nearly fell to their knees in awe.

“Did I really see that?!”

“Replay! Someone get a replay!”

The rich kids in the VIP box were shouting, and the control booth quickly rewound the footage from the high–speed cameras, playing it back in slow motion on the big

screen.

“Damn! I’m out of words. That’s insane!”

“That was a perfect lean–in turn and a godlike grab!”

“Is that even humanly possible? Luna is a goddess! I want to learn how to toss water bottles at full speed!”

The race continued, but no one was watching Felicity anymore–not even her die–hard buddies. They’d all rushed to the edge of the track, jumping up and down, cheering for Selene.

Dames stood next to Harrison, his jaw hanging open.

He looked up at the big screen. Luna had left Felicity in the dust–the cameras only followed Luna now. Felicity had fallen so far behind she didn’t even make it into the

shot.

Dames snapped out of his daze as the crowd erupted in a tidal wave of cheers:

“Luna! Luna!!”

He joined in, jumping and shouting until his voice went hoarse. “Luna! Luna!”

“Damn it!!”

Chapter 104

Felicity’s frustration threatened to shatter her teeth. Luna had vanished from sight–she couldn’t even see her anymore.

It wasn’t like Felicity was new to racing; she’d competed in dozens of amateur events back in Capital City, racking up trophies by the armful. That’s what gave her the confidence to challenge Luna in the first place.

But she never expected that this professional four–wheel racer would dominate her so completely on a two–wheeler.

And Luna hadn’t just beaten her–she’d pulled off motorcycle stunts in the middle of their race.

Whoosh!

A black blur flashed past Felicity.

Behind her visor, Felicity’s eyes widened. Her breath caught in her throat. She’d been lapped–Luna was a full circuit ahead!
