Rebirth Revenge Is Everything (Ariana) novel Chapter 256

Regarding this, Ariana did not display any form of obstruction.

"If she wants to go, let her be." Ariana is curious to see if she could join the White Group after her graduation.

Jane, on the other hand, was constantly observing Ariana's expressions. When she realized there were no signs of Ariana disapproving, she was a bit surprised. However, she immediately guessed that Ariana probably didn't think it through, perhaps she underestimated her.

After all, Jane was once considered her defeated opponent.

With that thought, Jane couldn't help but scoff at Ariana's arrogance.

She would make sure Ariana realizes that underestimating her would be the most regretful thing she's ever done in her life!

Since Jane was still recovering from her injuries, Gilbert and his wife didn't bother her for too long. After a short conversation, Gilbert and Georgia suggested that she should rest, and they went downstairs.

Throughout the visit, Jane's behavior was very obedient.

With that, Georgia's soft spot for Jane was developing again.

Meanwhile, Ariana was silent the entire time, not saying a word. Gilbert noticed Ariana's peculiar behavior, assuming that she still hadn't moved on from the past events. He believed that whatever she agreed on earlier was simply superficial. With that thought, Gilbert sighed, frowned, and as he was about to go downstairs, he addressed his daughter, "Ariana."

Ariana lifted her head, "Hmm?"

Gilbert muttered, "I noticed that you've been quiet... Are you still upset about something?"

Hearing their conversation, Georgia couldn't help but turn her head. As she glanced at her daughter, she seemed to want to say something but decided against it. It was quite apparent to her as well that Ariana was acting unusual.

However, Ariana was taken aback for a moment. She helplessly shook her head, "Dad, what are you thinking? I'm not upset, I'm just contemplating something. I don't know whether or not to tell you."

Gilbert was intrigued, so he asked, "What is it?"

Ariana paused, then said, "Dad, I've always known you've been searching for Jane's little sister all these years."

Gilbert felt a pause in his gaze, he suspected his daughter was about to broach the subject he cared deeply about, and he instantly held his breath. He gently asked, "So, what do you want to tell me?" After speaking, Gilbert couldn't help but continue, "Could it be… do you know where Kiara is?"

Hearing her husband's words, Georgia's eyes also flashed a trace of hope and disbelief.

Under the intense stares of both her parents, Ariana hesitated for a moment, then uncertainly said, "Dad... it’s like this. I previously went to a social gathering with my classmates and encountered a waitress at the bar. She's a girl about the same age as Kiara would be if she were still alive. I'm not sure if she's really Jane's younger sister, but she resembled our deceased uncle, aunt, and Jane a lot. Furthermore, her name is Kiara James."

Gilbert was struck by an immediate surge of joy!

He looked exuberantly at his daughter, trying to say something but due to overwhelming excitement, he couldn’t complete a sentence.

After calming his excited emotions somewhat, he hurriedly asked, "Where? The girl must be Kiara. Ariana, quickly tell me, where is she?"

Ariana hummed a response, "I’m not sure if she's still at the bar. But during that time she accidentally broke a bottle of red wine, and I kindly covered the expense for her because she greatly resembled Uncle and Aunt. However, she didn't simply accept my offer. Instead, she gave me a phone number and also took mine, stating she would keep earning money to repay me. She wanted my bank account number too, but I didn't give it to her."

Kiara obediently responded, "Hmm? What's wrong, Sister Ariana?"

Ariana paused for a moment, then slowly said, "Here's the thing, are you free now? I'd like to meet up with you."

Kiara was momentarily stunned, then quickly replied, "I do have time. Where should we meet, Sister Ariana? I'll come right away."

Ariana: "At the little coffee shop near your college."

Kiara continuously nodded, "Hmm hmm! I'm heading over now." After saying that, she quickly closed her books, grabbed her worn-out cotton jacket, and headed out, even though it was only October and it wasn't freezing. Since Kiara spent her early years in an orphanage, where she often faced hunger, her health was not great. Whenever it got a bit cold, she had no choice but to bundle up.

Smiling, Ariana agreed, telling her there was no rush as she hadn't left yet.

Kiara naturally said okay. But the moment she hung up, she dashed out like the wind.

Her dormitory roommate happened to encounter her in the corridor. Seeing Kiara in a hurry like that, the roommate was dumbfounded and bewildered, asking, "Hey, where are you off to in such a hurry, Kiara?"

Kiara, still beaming, waved a hand in dismissal, "I'm going to meet a friend. I'll be back in a bit."

The roommate blinked in confusion, shrugged, and then headed back to the dorm.

Despite being told that Ariana had not yet left, Kiara ran extremely fast. As someone who was used to waiting for others, she feared that she might misjudge the time and end up being late. Better for her to go early and wait.
