“Who are you talking about?”

Emily was puzzled. She didn’t recall ever taking Bianca as a student. If Chase wasn’t lying, then Blanca must be. Given how much Chase valued Aurora, it was unlikely he’d lie about something like this.

So, Bianca must be the one lying. And James was probably in on it, too.

Emily wanted to know who dared to impersonate her.

“What? Jealous? Trying to steal Bianca’s teacher? Don’t even think about it. I’m not stupid enough to tell you who it is. I’m here to warn you–stop hurting Bianca, or don’t blame me for ignoring our family ties.”

Chase spoke coldly.

Emily snapped, “Idiot! You’re the only one who believes Bianca. Just wait and see. Don’t come begging me when you regret it!”

She understood now. Bianca must have found someone to impersonate her, and Chase believed it without question.

Aurora’s illness wasn’t that hard to treat. There were plenty of skilled people out there who could cure her, but Aurora was also poisoned. Only Emily could cure that.

She hung up the phone without another word, waiting for Chase to regret his actions.

Bianca probably didn’t expect Chase to be so foolish. Upon hearing that someone could help Aurora, he couldn’t wait to show off to Emily.

Chase didn’t expect Emily to be so dismissive. She dared to hang up on him and even curse Aurora. He was so angry that he almost smashed his phone.

Emily hung up, smirking. Chase still had time to worry about Aurora, but if she remembered correctly, around this time in her previous life, rumors about him would start spreading online.

She didn’t need to do anything herself. If she ignored it, Chase would be ruined.

Emily quickly found Aurora’s private number through her computer and called her.

“Hello, who is this?”

Aurora’s voice was sweet and gentle; no wonder Chase liked her for so long.

So, she spoke kindly, “Ms. Rivera, I heard you found a highly skilled doctor. Could you tell me who it is?”

Aurora frowned. She had just learned about the doctor herself. How did this person know?

If they knew, why ask her?

“Who are you? Who told you this?”

“Ms. Rivera, who do you think told me? And since I know your private number, do you think it’s a coincidence I know this?”

Emily’s ambiguous words confused Aurora. She thought carefully.

Could it be one of Chase’s friends?

“Are you one of Chase’s friends? If so, why not ask him directly instead of me?”

Aurora was cautious, not revealing anything immediately.

Emily lowered her voice and mentioned a place and a name.

“Ms. Rivera, I don’t mean you any harm. I just want to know the doctor’s name or see a photo. If you don’t tell me, I might not be so

kind.”

Emily used her past life’s knowledge, mentioning a man who had kept Aurora and the house he bought her.

Aurora was scared. She had a single persona online, and the man who kept her was married. If this got out, her career would be destroyed.

Aurora’s face turned pale at the mention of the place and name. Her weak body almost fainted.

She dug her nails into her skin to stay conscious.

“I heard the doctor is Brad Thornton. Bianca and Mr. Smith found him. Why do you want to know?”

Aurora couldn’t refuse, but she was puzzled that someone who could uncover her secrets couldn’t find this.

Emily spoke calmly, “That’s not your concern. But if I were you, I’d rely less on men and more on friends. Find another reliable doctor.”

“Thank you, I understand. I told you Brad’s name. You won’t tell anyone what you said, right?”

Aurora didn’t trust Bianca but trusted James, so she didn’t mind Emily’s words, focusing on her reputation.

“I’m not interested in your private life. Don’t worry, I won’t say anything.”

Emily hung up and quickly searched for “Brad.” If he was posing as a skilled doctor, he must have some medical skills, or he’d be exposed.

With James involved, using the Smith family name, Brad would likely cooperate.

Following this lead, Emily soon found Brad’s identity. He had a connection to Floyd, being his classmate, but was expelled for certain

reasons.

Floyd came to SilverLight City partly because of Brad. Emily decided to settle old scores for Floyd.
