Bianca put on an innocent face and pleaded, “Sir, I’m with the car that just went in. I forgot my phone and can’t contact them. I just need to go in for a moment to find them, and I’ll come right out.”

The guard remained unmoved. “Sorry, ma’am, we can’t let anyone in without proper registration.”

Bianca frowned. “Then why was the car before me allowed in?”

She asked, already convinced that Emily was being kept by a wealthy man who had informed the property management, allowing her free

access.

“The owner of that car is a resident here, so they can come and go freely. You can either go back and get your phone or wait outside.”

The guard reminded her again.

Another resident was honking behind her, waiting to enter.
