Emily feared Violette might rush out and confront Rhett.

Emily quickly held Violette back. “Violette, don’t be impulsive! He’s just trash, not worth your effort. And remember, Atticus just took his exams. He has a good chance of getting in. We can’t let this affect his future.”

Hearing Atticus’s name, Violette calmed down.

Emily’s face was serious. Rhett dared to cause trouble again, so someone must be backing him.

She called Alfonso to ask how Rhett dared to act up after being dealt with last time.

Parker’s crude words showed his character.

Emily’s eyes turned cold. “I didn’t want to make an enemy of you, but if you insist, don’t blame me for being ruthless.”

She hung up and called Knox.

“Is Parker one of your guys?”

Knox immediately sensed Emily’s anger. “What happened? Did he mess with you? Tell me,

and I’ll handle it.”
