While I was discussing pain suppressants with Ginnie and the others, Waylon was escorted out by beta werewolf guards. He’d be held in a secure location going forward–his character simply couldn’t be trusted. And Alpha Henry’s condition absolutely had to remain a secret.

By the time the meeting wrapped up, the sky had already darkened. I returned to my room to rest. I used to stay up late studying or doing research, but once Alpha Henry found out, he showed up in person to stop me. He never said anything–he’d just stand there, silently staring.
