She turned and looked at the man who was following her. "Did I ask you to follow me? I don’t think I did."
"Killian would skin me alive if I were to leave you alone. So try to understand."
"Killian is your alpha, not mine." Tracy rolled her eyes and turned to look at the man fully. Her expression shifted enough for the man to realise that she was not the cute bunny he had imagined her to be. Her eyes turned gloomy, like charcoal black.
Of course, the man didn’t even flinch. He straightened his spine just enough to let her know that he was not going to back down. "Impressive. I will have to admit that black looks good on you. But it’s not going to change my mind." 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Tracy studied him for one whole second. For two good seconds, she considered turning the man into something small and finicky. Something she could squash under her feet, but decided against it. If she killed this jerk, then his alpha wouldn’t let it slide, and she didn’t have the time or the energy to deal with the lycan heir.
"Fine. But you’d better stay back; there is no need to threaten anyone—don’t even think of growling, snarling or doing any of your wolf business here. And if I ask you to back down, you are going to do that without any question."
The man rolled his eyes. Nonetheless, he shut his mouth and followed her without saying anything. His fangs were no longer prominent now, and he looked quite docile and gentlemanly with his expression tamed. No wonder he could make women fall for him in a matter of a few seconds.
The sound of someone humming started to drift through the air, and the two of them whipped their heads toward the sound. A young woman, fairly young, was sitting on a boulder. She was balancing three to four joy meals in her lap, comprising burgers and French fries with a big Coke. Her blonde hair was carefully curled, and her legs were swinging back and forth. But there was something about her presence—like she was satisfied with whatever chaos she had caused.
And there was that energy radiating off her.
"Well, that’s her," she whispered, stepping past the tree behind which she was hiding.
"This little girl? What can she even do at this point?"
"Little girl? That girl might be older than your great-great-great-grandma’s old bones in her grave." Tracy snickered as she glanced back at the man.
She turned her attention back to the young girl and released a sigh. Without wasting another second, she made her way toward the young girl.
"It seems like you are having a lot of fun," Tracy remarked with a smile on her lips.
The woman swivelled her head around. Her eyes widened in shock.
