Bertha sighed in relief when Sebastian nodded. Then, she began sharing her plans.

Martin listened and nodded approvingly.

In fact, he had no intention of actually marrying Heather off to Sebastian. An engagement was enough for him.

However, the cave was surprisingly spacious, with three separate rooms. One was her own sleeping quarters, one was the alchemy room, and another one was the bedroom that belonged to her former disciple.

It had a lot of stuff in the house, likely left behind by the previous occupant.

"You'll stay here for now. Don't touch anything you're not supposed to, and don't wander off unless necessary," Bertha reminded him.

"Alright. But I need to return home tomorrow for some personal matters," Sebastian said.
