Cassius was still trying to process what was happening when Yolanda gave him two very sincere, deep bows.

"Yolanda! I'm not dead yet, and here you are, mourning me already?"

Cassius felt the veins in his forehead throb with frustration.

He jumped out of bed, barefoot, and yanked the woman attempting a third bow into his arms, glaring at her with fiery disbelief.

"How can you be so heartless? I'm already in this mess because of you. Instead of feeling guilty and trying to make amends by being at my beck and call, you're thinking of shirking responsibility and finding some other guy to have fun with?!"

Cassius's eyes were wide with incredulity and anger as he stared at Yolanda.

Her arms were starting to ache from his grip, but she suppressed her irritation, frowning as she replied.

"Hollywood star Cassius, there's no need to get so worked up. That's not how things work, logically speaking."

"Oh really, and how is it then?" Cassius was practically ready to bite this nonchalant woman in front of him.

He searched her face for any hint of concern or regret—anything that showed she cared about him. But there was nothing.

Damn, this woman really didn't give a damn.

He was determined to hear whatever "logic" she had to offer.

"We're done. We're no longer anything to each other. I was supposed to be on a proper date today. By now, I could have been strolling by the river, hand in hand with the charming Dr. Shawn. Instead, it's Hollywood star Cassius who cornered me, embarrassed me, got me drunk, and dragged me here."
