She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 128

Hector was the top card shark in the Glenwood Clan, second only to the Gambling King himself. Marshall had mentioned him before.

How could anyone expect her to beat a professional gambler like that?

The more Celine thought about it, the more she couldn’t wait to see Sabrina fall flat on her face.

If Sabrina lost, she’d have to leave the Sutton family immediately—and Port City along with it. Once she was gone, there’d be plenty of ways to deal with her.

Celine suppressed her excitement, linking arms with Uliana and Elena, putting on a worried face.

“Should we go watch the match together? I’m just... I’m worried something might happen to Sabrina,” she whispered the last words so softly that only the two girls beside her heard.

Uliana and Elena had been hesitating about making the trek to Siren’s Club. After all, it was still a ninety-minute drive away. If they got home too late, they’d be in trouble with their families.

But after hearing Celine’s suggestion, the two exchanged a look. Of course.

Sabrina was bound to lose. And she’d lose badly. They didn’t want to miss a spectacle like that for anything. In fact, they were already planning to record Sabrina’s humiliating defeat and post it online. The thought alone was delicious.

They shot each other a quick, knowing grin, then nodded at Celine. “Let’s go.”

A whole group set out for Siren’s Club in high spirits.

Meanwhile, before heading out, Sabrina made a call to Samuel.

She mentioned she’d be gambling at Siren’s Club that night. Since she was worried Hector might renege if he lost, she asked Samuel to act as a witness.

She even promised, if she won, she’d give him ten million dollars as a thank-you. After all, Samuel had helped her out a lot lately. With an ally like him, she needed to keep him close and treat him well.

Samuel just laughed. “I’m your uncle, for heaven’s sake. Don’t talk to me about money—it’s insulting. It’s nothing. Just show up. I’ll make sure you have the opening match tonight.”
