Everyone’s attention snapped to Area 2.
There, standing quietly, was a young woman.
A ripple of surprise went through the crowd—someone with a sharp eye had recognized her as the same woman who had once dared to challenge the Gambling Deity.
Murmurs broke out all around.
“My God, it really is her! She actually faced off against the Gambling Deity last time—now she’s back again!”
“I recognized her too. She may look ordinary, but I’d know that face anywhere. I don’t know why Marshall would bet against her—he’s bound to lose.”
“Heh, this is going to be a show worth watching!”
Amid the excited whispers, Sabrina, cool and composed, stepped up onto the gaming stage.
She took her seat without saying a word.
The stakes had already been set: Marshall was putting up a hundred million dollars. If Sabrina lost, she would leave the Sutton family forever.
The casino fell utterly silent.
All eyes were locked on the two figures at the table.
It was clear to everyone—the fire of battle burned in both their eyes.
It felt as if a life-or-death duel was about to begin.
Once everything was set, they followed the usual rules.
One round. Winner takes all.
Sabrina was to shuffle first.
She picked up the deck of cards, her fingers curling just so, gripping the stack tightly. Lifting her hands, she began to shuffle in a slow, deliberate rhythm. The cards slid gently through her fingers, making a faint whispering sound.
To Marshall, who watched her every move, her shuffling seemed awkward and inexperienced.
