“Besides the million, there’s one more thing…”
Sabrina paused, her eyes sweeping over the four girls, her expression unreadable. “Whoever loses has to crawl on all fours at the school gate at noon, barking like a dog.”
Elena burst out laughing before anyone else could react. “Deal! And don’t come begging for mercy when you lose.” She agreed so quickly, it was as if she was afraid Sabrina would change her mind.
Honestly, Elena was starting to admire Sabrina—who would’ve thought she’d come up with something so ruthless?
The whole group broke out into laughter, the idea both shocking and hilarious.
Seriously, who thinks of this stuff? Part of her almost wanted to see it for herself—what would it look like if a pretty girl had to bark like a dog in front of everyone?
Meanwhile, Sabrina’s icy gaze never wavered. She watched them in silence, her eyes calm and impassive.
But behind that calm, a storm was brewing.
Once she got Jenna and Lennox back on her side, step one would be to destroy Celine’s precious reputation, bit by bit. After that, she’d move on to the next phase.
One step at a time, she’d make Celine fall from her pedestal—every fall would hurt worse than the last. That would make it all the more fun.
Elena, still riding the high, added, “Oh, and if you lose, you don’t just pay us a million and bark like a dog. You have to be our maid for a month. Whatever we tell you to do, you do it—no arguing. Deal?”
A ripple of shock ran through the crowd. That sounded… ambiguous.
What if they told her to jump off a building? Would she have to? Or eat something disgusting—would she have to do that too?
That was exactly Elena’s plan. She wanted to humiliate Sabrina as much as possible.
Uliana, who had been silent so far, grabbed Elena’s arm. “She won’t agree to that.”
A few classmates muttered under their breath, “Don’t do it, Sabrina. They’re obviously trying to trap you with the wording.”
But the so-called “Queens of Petersburg”—the school’s infamous clique—were practically giddy. Finally, someone was taking Sabrina down a peg.
Just as everyone assumed Sabrina would refuse, she spoke up.
“Fine. But I have one more condition. In addition to the two I mentioned, here’s a third: If you lose, you have to streak naked around the school gate for ten minutes.”
What?
Streak… naked?
