Hester slipped out of the private suite and made her way down the corridor, unerringly finding Marshall at the far end.
He was on the phone, standing straight and composed. Without hesitation, she wrapped her arms around him from behind.
Catching her reflection in the glass, Marshall’s lips curled into a faint smile. He promptly hung up.
He turned, pulling her tightly against his waist.
They moved together, Marshall swiftly unlocking the door to Suite 808 and locking it behind them in one fluid motion.
Their lips found each other’s, hands roaming, the passion urgent and undeniable.
Within seconds, clothes were scattered carelessly across the plush carpet.
That phone call he’d made earlier? He’d arranged for Suite 808 to be left vacant. It was his personal space—spacious, tastefully decorated, more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room. There was even a bed and a full set of fresh clothes.
Hester knew exactly what she was doing, and she did it well.
Marshall had never experienced pleasure quite like this.
He knew full well this wasn’t an ordinary woman, but he couldn’t bring himself to stop.
If it came down to it, he could always just pay her. Money was the one thing he’d never have to worry about.
His body’s needs far outweighed any complications.
So, he decided—Hester would be his mistress. He’d give her anything she wanted.
Anything except a title.
When their wild encounter finally ended, Hester calmly returned to the suite as if nothing had happened.
“What took you so long?” Celine complained, clearly annoyed.
Hester assumed Celine hadn’t caught on and brushed her off with a casual excuse.
But her mind was still replaying every detail of Marshall’s touch.
Celine saw right through her but chose not to say anything. Once again, Marshall had fallen for this woman’s tricks.
No matter, she told herself. If Marshall wanted a fling, let him have it.
Still, she’d seen them kissing at the end of the hallway just moments ago, and the urge to march over and tear Hester apart was almost overwhelming.
