She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 283

Hester muttered to herself, “What kind of wish should I make?”

Then she looked up with a mischievous grin. “Grandma, why don’t you help me think of one?”

Octavia was so taken aback by Hester’s behavior that, for a moment, she couldn’t even respond.

How could she act so brazenly?

So disrespectful—even in front of Father Benedict!

“Get out! What are you trying to do? Are you trying to kill me with anger?”

Octavia finally snapped, her voice trembling with fury.

Something was terribly wrong with Hester today.

Her smile was chilling, her eyes glinted with malice—completely unlike the sweet, obedient girl she used to be.

Seeing Octavia grow agitated, Hester’s smile only widened.

“Oh, don’t get upset, Grandma. I haven’t even made my wish yet.”

She tapped her chin, then her eyes lit up as if she’d had a brilliant idea. “Hmm... I know! How about I wish for Sabrina to die far away and never come back?”

With that, she bowed slightly before the statue of Father Benedict, then casually stuck three incense sticks into the holder.

Octavia’s face drained of color at Hester’s cruel words.

“Hester, do you even realize what you’re saying? Have you lost your mind?”

What frightened her most was that Hester had spoken her wicked wish right in front of Father Benedict.

Shaken, Octavia immediately began praying under her breath, desperately hoping to drive away the venom that Hester had just spewed.

Hester let out a peal of laughter. “Of course I know what I’m saying! You’re getting old, Grandma—maybe your hearing isn’t so good. I’ll say it louder: I hope Sabrina dies and never comes back. Did you hear me this time?”

Octavia was so stunned by her words that she slumped to the floor in disbelief.

She couldn’t comprehend how Hester could change so suddenly—her heart felt as though it had been stabbed, the pain cutting deep.
