She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 288

“Otherwise, if I could kidnap your uncle, I could easily take anyone else in the Sutton family, too.

Or perhaps, I might just make sure your dear uncle disappears from this world—forever.”

Octavia never expected that Hester would have her backed into a corner like this. Now, she had no choice but to let Hester lead her by the nose. All reason had left her; she was running on nothing but desperation.

Looking into Hester’s wicked, ambitious eyes, Octavia had no choice but to give in. She was out of options. This lunatic was capable of anything.

“Fine. I’ll sign. I’ll sign whatever you want. But after that, you let Wallace go.”

Hester nodded, a satisfied smile curling on her lips. “Of course!”

Octavia scrawled her name across the agreement, then pressed her personal seal down beside it.

“There. I’ve signed over the shares just as you wanted. Now, keep your end of the deal—let Wallace go!”

Hester picked up the document, blowing gently over the fresh ink to dry it. Her eyes glittered with greed and insatiable ambition.

“There’s just one last thing I need from you, Grandma. To make sure the rest of the Sutton family doesn’t suspect a thing, you’ll have to record a little video. And remember—look relaxed, natural. Smile for the camera, okay?”

Octavia felt like she was being roasted over an open flame. She had to comply with every demand, no matter how humiliating. Whatever Hester wanted—even if it cost Octavia her life—she had to obey.

Ten minutes later, the video was done.

Hester’s lips curled in a mocking, almost childlike smile. Her eyes sparkled with feigned innocence as she spoke, drawing out every word.

“Grandma, I never thought someone your age could still be so naïve. Hahaha!”
