She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 86

Sabrina had just lifted her foot, ready to keep climbing the stairs.

But then—

Out of the corner of her eye, she suddenly caught something speeding toward her from above.

She looked up.

A thick, heavily-patterned snake—easily as wide as a man’s wrist—was slithering straight at her, fangs bared and tongue flicking, its body coiling and writhing with menacing intent.

At that very moment, several heads peeked out from the stairwell on the second floor, eyes glinting with anticipation and a hint of malice.

One of the boys, unable to contain himself, whispered under his breath, “Come on, Flora! Wrap her up—make sure she embarrasses herself in front of everyone. Hurry up…”

The others watched intently, faces lit with an unmistakable, wicked thrill.

As the snake twisted toward Sabrina, a few snickers drifted down from the second floor—schadenfreude barely contained.

But the laughter died abruptly.

“Where’s Flora?” Jason demanded, staring at the empty landing before turning to his friends in confusion.

Dawson and the others looked just as baffled. In the blink of an eye, the snake had vanished.

Sabrina, meanwhile, remained perfectly composed, steadily ascending the stairs, one deliberate step at a time.

Upstairs, a small crowd had gathered in the corridor, everyone craning their necks for a better look, all equally bewildered.

“Did Flora slither downstairs?”

“Oh hell, she can’t go down there—if someone finds her, we’re screwed.”

Jason started to rush down the stairs in a panic, but Dawson yanked him back. “Wait. She’s coming up. Let’s look together in a minute.”
