Side Chick Era Over (Sharon and Carter) novel Chapter 456

Chapter 456

Back at the Biggs Group headquarters, Nate handed three neatly organized files to Carter.

“Carter, these are the three women Kelly wants to invite. All three come from prominent families. Over the years, they’ve made quite a name for themselves in the music industry. (1)

“Though the general public may not recognize their names, they’re highly respected within the professional circle and have even turned down invitations from Maestro Warner himself.

“By the way… this woman, Carol Fraser, is the heiress of Fraser Group. They recently started working with us. If you personally speak to Fraser Group’s CEO, I believe he’ll give you that courtesy.”

Carter glanced over the documents and gave a faint nod in acknowledgment.

Nate continued, “This one, Melanie Perkins, also comes from a wealthy family, but they’re nowhere near the Biggs Group’s level. Applying a bit of pressure on her family shouldn’t be a problem.

“The tricky one is Ginny Blakely…” He frowned. “Her background is exceptional. Rumor has it she’s about to get engaged to the Kalen Group’s eldest son, Rick Kalen. Forcing the issue probably won’t work.”

Carter’s hand paused over the file. “Rick is getting engaged?”

“Yeah,” Nate said. “He’s not getting any younger, and as the future heir of Kalen Group, it’s about time. You’re a few years younger than him, and Theo is already in preschool.”

Something seemed to click in Nate’s mind. He looked at Carter. “Come to think of it, you and Rick seem to know each other. Why not ask him for help?”

Carter’s brows drew together slightly. “There’s no confirmation yet about his engagement to Ms. Blakely. If I interfere now, it might just come off as meddling, and that won’t be well received.”

Nate considered this and nodded. “That’s true.”

Then he asked, “But how do you know Rick? His family’s been based in Marcentine for years and hasn’t had much interaction with the Biggs Group.”

In terms of corporate strength, Kalen Group far surpassed Biggs Group. Even though Carter had led Biggs Group to meteoric growth in recent years, their foundation still couldn’t compare to a century-old powerhouse like the Kalens.

This generation of the Kalen family was particularly impressive. Rick, in particular, was an exceptional leader.

What was even more rare was that the family had managed to stay free of scandal. Their structure was clear-cut, their members united, and their reputation spotless.

Carter responded evenly, “Mhm.”

Nate’s eyes lit up. “Is she prettier than Sharon?”

Even he had to admit: among all the beautiful women he’d seen, Sharon’s looks ranked near the top. After all, she had nothing else to offer-no talent, no impressive background-so how else could she have ended up as Carter’s wife?

Still, despite her beauty, Nate had never liked her. He wasn’t the type to be swayed by appearances.

In terms of talent and accomplishment, Kelly far outshined Sharon.

Carter replied nonchalantly, “Different types. Hard to compare.”

Nate was a little surprised.

Victoria was a household name among elite social circles-an icon of beauty and grace. She was said to be a prodigy in music, art, and literature. A top student, too.
