Chapter 466
Madeline frowned. “What are you yelling for? That’s no way for a proper young lady to behave.”
Denise was unfazed. Her face lit up with excitement as she shoved her phone toward Madeline. “Mom, it’s Ginny Blakely! She’s coming to Amstern City to perform at a concert as a special guest!”
“Ginny Blakely?” Madeline’s brows lifted slightly. “You mean the Blakely family’s eldest daughter?”
Denise nodded enthusiastically. “Yes! She’s not just some privileged heiress; she’s legit brilliant. People even compare her to Victoria Kalen, the number one socialite. She’s my idol. No way I’m missing her performance.”
Madeline nodded thoughtfully. “An heiress like her is worth getting close to. If you manage to catch her eye and become her friend, the Biggs family could benefit tremendously.”
Denise sighed with admiration. “I heard she’s performing to support a close friend. And her two besties-Carol and Melanie- they’re both incredible too. Total legends at Bell University’s Hall of Fame… I guess it’s true what they say. Outstanding people always surround themselves with other standouts. Forget being friends with Ginny, I’d be thrilled just to get her autograph. It’d be enough to make anyone jealous.”
She paused for a second.
“But… it’s not Carol or Melanie’s concert this time. It’s another friend of hers. Let me check who…”
She tapped into the event link from Ginny’s post, then froze. Her eyes widened.
“Sharon McKinzie’s concert? Wait-our Sharon?”
At the mention of that name, Madeline instinctively frowned. “That troublesome girl again?”
She’d never liked Sharon. Recently, Sharon had dared to talk back and challenge her at every turn, testing Madeline’s patience
to its limit.
Denise rubbed her eyes, as if to make sure she wasn’t seeing things. “She’s really the one hosting the concert… Is this even real?

Madeline scoffed. “It must be someone with the same name. Sharon barely finished school. There’s no way she knows someone
like Ginny.”
Denise nodded slowly. “Yeah, that does make more sense. Still…”
She hesitated, brows pulling together. “It’s a violin concert. And Sharon does play the violin. Isn’t that… a bit too much of a coincidence?”
Madeline’s tone turned sharp. “Lots of people play the violin. Who does Sharon think she is? The time she won first place at that kindergarten talent show, I’m sure it was Xavier who helped her cheat-probably used a pre-recorded track. She could never
win on her own.
“With her education and skill? Hosting a concert? And getting someone like Ginny to appear as a guest performer? Do you really believe that?”
Denise fell silent. It did seem far-fetched. Hosting a concert was one thing-Sharon had Xavier backing her, and John, who also played the violin, might’ve offered help.
But convincing Ginny and her friends to attend as special guests? That felt almost impossible.
Maybe it really was just someone with the same name,

At the Biggs Group headquarters, Nate looked as if he’d just heard something completely absurd.
“You’re telling me all three of them turned Kelly down? Are they out of their minds? They’d dare to offend you, Carter?”
Kelly’s expression wasn’t any better. She turned toward Carter, who stood silently by the window, and took a deep breath.” Carter… are they all going to Sharon’s concert instead?”
Before Carter could respond, Nate shouted, “Sharon? That nobody? Impossible! No way she has that kind of pull!”
Kelly ignored him. Her eyes stayed fixed on Carter.
“I heard Carol and Melanie are close friends with Ginny. If she asked them to go, they wouldn’t say no.”
