Side Chick Era Over (Sharon and Carter) novel Chapter 651

Chapter 651

Theo immediately said, “Mom, I’ll be cheering for you.

Sharon responded faintly, neither distant nor warm.

”

Only after she left did Carter finally turn his gaze on Thomas.

He had noticed him long ago.

Even though Thomas kept silent, deliberately low-key, his striking looks made it impossible for anyone to ignore him.

Carter stepped closer, scrutinizing Thomas from head to toe, his eyes carrying a suffocating weight of dominance and authority.

“Who exactly are you?”

He had seen Thomas a few times before but never bothered to give it much thought. After all, he couldn’t imagine Sharon being interested in a delicate, frail-looking pretty boy like him.

But the more often this man appeared at her side, the more of an eyesore he became.

Even Xavier wasn’t constantly hovering around Sharon. Yet this stranger-every time Carter saw her, he was there too. 1

At the auction, it could be excused; there had been a crowd. But this time, when Sharon entered a competition, she brought only

him.

Carter’s sharp gaze cut into Thomas. For Sharon to keep him close, the man must have some kind of ability. Still, something about him felt wrong. Carter couldn’t shake the sense that this mysterious guy had an ulterior motive for being by her side.

An ordinary man would have already cowered under Carter’s oppressive aura. But Thomas stood unflinching, smiling with unshaken composure.

“My name is Thomas. I’m currently Sharon’s bodyguard and assistant. She’s famous, which naturally attracts trouble. There are people trying to harass her, even endanger her safety.” 1

It wasn’t impossible.

Otherwise, how else could one explain why she would choose a male assistant… and one with such striking looks?

For some reason, Julliard felt an even greater sense of threat than Carter did.

Meanwhile, Victoria had already been confirmed as a violin contestant representing Marcentine.

Today, she and Johanna came to the competition venue to gauge the strength of Zachemaine’s violinists.

Just then, Johanna tugged lightly at Victoria’s sleeve.

“Victoria… who is that guy?”

Victoria followed her gaze. Her pupils contracted ever so slightly.
