Jamie chuckled. “Not a bad idea, actually.”

Lex’s gaze locked on Wendy, his mind turning over ways to break her.

With both men’s eyes fixed on her, it felt as if two venomous snakes were coiling around her body, cold scales pressing against her skin. A chill seeped through her bones.

Wendy’s teeth chattered uncontrollably-she was terrified beyond measure. Yet she forced herself to sound steady.

“Since… since that’s the case, then let Sharon go! She’s innocent!”

Jamie studied her with interest. “So much backbone? I wonder if you’ll still have any left in a little while.”

His tone dropped, flat and casual. “Bring them in.”

Lex glanced sharply at him. He hadn’t even decided how to punish Wendy yet, and already Jamie was summoning people. Did he have something else in mind?

Wendy’s pupils dilated in shock. She instinctively curled in on herself.

“Y-you… what are you planning to do?”

Jamie’s smile was ice. “What can men do to women? If you don’t want to, I won’t force you. I imagine Sharon will be far more willing.”

Wendy opened her mouth to protest, only to be cut off.

“I’ll do it.” Sharon’s voice rang, clear. Her face was pale, but her dark eyes burned coldly as she looked straight into Jamie’s ruthless gaze. “The question is… do you dare, Jamie?”
