Chapter 25
But as he heard the so–called surprise was a naked woman, something that had happened years ago immediately resurfaced in his mind.
His expression turned grave as he set the glass on the table and rushed off to find Helena.
“Stop taking photos of me…”
He froze when he heard Helena say this.
The scene in front of him was identical to that day years ago.
Trembling, Helena curled up in a corner, her hair messy, her face stained with tears.
He snatched the phone from the man standing at the front and smashed it against the wall violently.
“Put your fucking phones away!
“Get out!”
He quickly turned around, took off his suit jacket, and draped it over Helena’s shoulders. Throwing caution to the wind, he dressed the still shaken her himself.

Josephine spotted Patricia’s car as she left the venue.
She waved her hand and walked over.
Patricia looked at her uniform, puzzled. “Why are you dressed like this?”
She replied casually, “To get in there to see Helena.”

Zachery grabbed her wrist and pulled her wandering hand back toward him. “I’m here.”
She said stubbornly, “Yeah, I know.”
He smiled helplessly.
