“Did Belinda apologize to you today?”

Natalia nodded. “She apologized.”

“Really?” Josephine sounded a bit skeptical.

Korbin once told Belinda that princesses never need to apologize.

Belinda believed it.

She had tried several times to teach Belinda that a true princess would never do anything to hurt others.

But Belinda wouldn’t listen, and even retorted:

“Mom, you grew up in a small town, you’re not a princess, so how would you know what a princess is like?”

Natalia paused for a moment, but still nodded.

Parsley garlic salt was used to enhance the flavor, and a layer of mushroom sauce was drizzled evenly over it–simply perfection.

Zachery didn’t eat; he sat beside them, squeezing orange juice.

Josephine wanted him to try the fruits of her labor.

So she took a clean fork, speared a piece of beef, and brought it to Zachery’s lips.

Zachery’s eyes flickered, unable to hide a trace of delight.

He parted his thin lips, his gaze fixed on Josephine, and bit into the irresistible morsel.

A mouthful of fresh flavor, lingering and unforgettable…

After another glass of orange juice, Josephine felt a bit too full and decided to clean the

kitchen to move around.

Zachery refused. “You just took a shower. Don’t get your clothes dirty.”

Then he went to tidy up.

The kitchen was open–plan, so Josephine could clearly see Zachery taking off his watch.

Maybe because she had given it to him, she felt a special attachment to it.

Watching Zachery gently place the watch into the compartmentalized storage box, she felt as if he was cherishing her along with it.

Zachery methodically put the dishes into the dishwasher, then wiped down the countertop and sink with a cloth.

The warm light outlined his smooth features, his skin naturally fair.
