Tempted By My Ex's Brother-in-Law (Aria and Grayson) novel Chapter 32

Chapter 32

Third Person POV

WWhat truth?! I don’t know what you’re talking about!Jace shouted, struggling beneath Grayson’s boot.

Grayson fet out a cold laugh and suddenly put more weight into the foot pressing down on Jace’s chest. A sickening crack echoed through the air. His

bone broke.

Jace let out a loud scream as blood dripped from the corner of his lips.

I know you had something to do with what happened today And I know you met someone tonight. You better tell me who it was nowbecause if you don’t, I’ll find out anyway.

Jace choked on blood, coughing. It wasn’t meI would nevernever hurt Aria

Grayson grabbed his collar and hauled him to his feet, then slammed him hard against the car.

Jace gasped, staring into Grayson’s ragetwisted face.

Would never hurt her? Don’t think I’m as easy to fool as Delilah!Grayson growled, his voice dangerously low. I know you stalked her. Threatened her. You even shoved her the other day and nearly made her fall to her death. You’ve got a thousand reasons to want her gone. And the biggest one? You’re terrified as hell she’ll tell Delilah all about your pathetic past.

Jace’s lips trembled.

Then, his lips twisted into a sneer.

No Grayson. I’ve got an even bigger reason. One you’re too much of a coward to admitI still have feelings for Aria.

Grayson caught his throat in an iron grip.

You married my sister!

Jace coughed, laughing icily. And you think you’re any better? You’re acting like you care about Aria, but she’s really just some toy to mess with! At least she was my real girlfriend. We had a past. A real one. Something you’ll never have!

I’ll tell Delilah about this,Grayson said darkly.

Oh yeah? Good luck. Like she’s actually gonna believe a word you say.Jace gave a crooked, bloody smile. And maybe you shouldn’t piss me off either, because if you do, Delilah won’t forgive you. She’s already pissed about how you’ve been treating me lately.

Grayson stared him down with icy disdain. Jace shivered under his gaze but tried to maintain a defiant face.

Take him to the warehouse.

Grayson suddenly ordered turned on his heel.

The guards rushed over, grabbing Jace by the arms and dragging him across the estate.

Let go of meFUCKGrayson! What the hell are you doing?! GRAYSON!

Someone stuffed a cloth into his mouth. Jace’s shouts turned into muffled cries. They dragged him deep into the estate, far from the mansion, to a warehouse where no one would hear even the loudest screarn.

The door slammed shut behind them.

What the fuck do you want from me?!Jace roared.

They shoved him onto the ground. Grayson tossed a document and a pen in front of him.

The prenup.

The one Jace had refused to sign.

Sign it.

You wish! I’ll never fucking sign that thing!Jace spat.

Grayson stared down at him with calm fury. You don’t love Delilah. You married her for the money. But I’ll make sure you don’t get a single damn cent from the Hart family.”

Fuck you, Grayson! You think you’re some mighty fucking god? You just got lucky being born into the right family. If I were a Hart too, i’d be ten times the man you are!

Grayson let out a cold, mocking laugh. But you’re not. You’re just trash. Your whole family’s trash. Marrying a rich girl is the best thing that ever happen to you but it still won’t change your fate.

He stomped on Jace’s right wrist.

Sign it.

Jace shook violently, struggling. Fuck youAHHH!

Grayson snapped his wrist without hesitation.

You psycho! I’ll tell Delilah everything you did to me!Jace screamed in agony.

Delilah’s the only card you’ve got left. Too bad thoughshe doesn’t run the Hart family. I DO.Grayson’s voice was ice. Now sign the goddamn thing. You’ve still got your left hand.

Sweat drenched Jace’s shaking body. One of the guards raised a gun to the back of his head.

Or I shoot you right here. After what you did to Aria, you deserve to die a million times over.

The warehouse fell into silence, broken only by Jace’s ragged sobs of pain.

After a long moment, he gave up. He snatched the pen and scrawled his name across

the prenup.

いち

Grayson picked it up, checked the signaturestill fresh and stained with bloodand handed it to one of the guards.

Give this to the lawyer. Make sure it’s activated immediately.

Yes, Alpha.”

Did you check his dashcam?

We did. Bastard wiped everything.

Widen the search. Contact the local Alphas. I want every surveillance camera scanned. I need to know who he met with tonight.

Understood. And when we find that person-

Bring him to me. I’ll deal with him myself.

The chill in Grayson’s voice made Jace tremble againthis time, more from fear than pain.

I told you, I didn’t meet anyone!Jace, choked out.

Chapter 32

Save it. When ! find him, both of you are fucking dead.

Grayson kicked him aside like garbage and stormed out.

Leave him here. His wolf will handle the healing.

Yes, Alpha.

The warehouse door slammed shut.

Jace lay flat on his back, blood still dripping down his face. The searing pain in his wrist made him want to scream.

But more than pain, he felt rage. Pure, consuming rage.
