Chapter 17.

Angelina’s pov

I woke up to a beeping sound coming from my left, it was starting to annoy the shit out of me, I groan in irritation of the sound. “Bunny, finally, good morning sleeping beauty!” I heard Kai’s soothing voice and felt him thumb caressing small circles on my right hand.

I slowly open my eyes to look at him, and try to figure out how the hell he is next to me, last thing I remember was he drop me off at my place and Victor and Margarethe started to beat the shit out of me.

I looked at my sweet Kai’s handsome face and I see it filled with worry. I lifted my right hand he was holding in his hand up to his cheek. “Big bro, why such a worried look on your handsome face, it don’t suit you!” I said with a little chuckle and a smile on my face.

And he immediately put a small smile on his face reaching up to the hand I had on his cheek, holding it while he lead his head more into it before lifting his head and kissed my hand. “Bunny, I’m just so happy to see you awake, you truly scared us yesterday!” he said and his worried expression returned.

I was laying in bed super confused, and he saw the confusion on my face to he started to explain. “Yesterday after I dropped you off at your place, I got back home, a little later you called Axel” I cut him off with a even more confused face and said, “I don’t remember I called Axel!”

He continued his explanation after a short nod to show he heard me. “We think you accidentally call him with your phone in your pocket, we heard everything going on but the sound was a little muffled. So we rushed over there, and when we got there we found you laying on the living room floor bearly alive bunny!”

he said.

I shot up in bed,” OH MY GOD, what time is it?” I asked more frantic, I can’t be late for school! “You need to lay down and rest bunny!” He said trying to get me to lay back down.

“No Kai you don’t understand, if I don’t go to school the beating I got yesterday will look like childsplay. I NEED to go to school!” I was looking at him and anxious tears rolling down my face.

He carefully stood up and brought my face into his chest caressing the top of my head trying to sooth me.

It did work a little but I have to go to school!

“Wait here, I will go and talk to doctor Phil, and see what he have to say, please lay down till I get back!” he said in a soothing tone, and I couldn’t do anything other the nod my head.

Kai kissed the top of my head before heading out the door and closed it behind him. I just laid back down so my body could relax its muscles.

Rex’s pov

I’m standing outside of Angelina’s hospital room in the medic wing of the branch house. We all decided it would be best to stay away in case she woke up, we didn’t wanna scare her being surrounded by strangers.

Chapter 17.

So we decided to have Kai wait inside for her to wake up. We had the door open just a tiny little bit so we could hear what was going on inside there, incase something happened to Angelina’s health.

And yeah I also guess it’s because Kai is in there and he is a man! You can’t blame me for wanting to make- sure my baby sister don’t come to more harm.

We are all standing here in the hall waiting for Angelina to wake up. We are all quiet as mouse because we don’t want to wake her up or miss any sound coming from inside.

So I’m standing right next to the left side if the door and the door is to my left, Dad stand on my right, Axel next to dad, Leo on the right side of the door, Sofia to his left, Silas to Sofias left, Christian on the other side of the hall in front of me, Sebastian to his right, Jack to Christian’s left and doctor Phil next to him looking at his ipad.

So we are all here. Then we suddenly hear Kai say “Bunny, finally, good morning sleeping beauty!“, My breathing stopped, knowing that my baby sister is finally awake.

“Big bro, why such a worried look on your handsome face, it don’t suit you!” I heard she say with a chuckle in her voice. And hearing her angelic voice again after so many years, it brought tears back in my eyes.

And hearing how she call him ‘big bro‘ kinda make me relieved, now I understand why they all seem so close, they look at my baby sister as theirs so of course they will always take good care of her, they have created some deep bonds with each other.

I’m sure this team we have here must think I’m a little punk ass bitch for how much they have seen me cry during my short time here with them.

But I don’t care, I have not shed a tear in years. Last time I cried was the time Angelina was taken. I look at my dad to my right and see a small smile on his face, tear running down his face as well.

I know it do me so good hearing her voice, I can’t even imagine what my dad feel hearing his only daughters voice again after so long. Then I heard how he explained to her how they found her.

And I know he deliberately left out anything about ‘them‘, then I heard,” OH MY GOD, what time is it?” my heart dropped from the panic in her voice. I heard Kai tell her that she needed to rest.

When she said, “No Kai you don’t understand, if I don’t go to school the beating I got yesterday will look like childsplay. I NEED to go to school! All the blood in my body vanished and it truly broke my heart.

Seeing her yesterday, that beating was so intense it almost killed her, if she have experienced worse, I can’t even imagine how fucked up her life have been.

I heard Kai said he needed to talk to Doctor Phil about it first, so now we need to figure out what to do. For our plan to be as smooth as possible I think it would be smart to let her go to school but I don’t want her to walk around in pain.
