Chapter 20.

Angelina’s pov

While I’m laying in Christian’s arms walking out to Kai who will drive me to school. I felt Christian carefully caress my thigh where he is holding me with his right, his left is supporting my back.

He look down on me and I look up at him meeting his honey brown eyes. “Please princess, please remain safe, you know you matter so much to all of us! And none of us can see you hurt.” he said it so low barely a whisper, but loud enough for only me to hear.

I raised my left hand carefully to his cheek. “Chris, I promise I will always be careful! And all of you matters more to me than life itself, so you all always need to be careful! Can you promise me that please?” I said just loud enough for him to hear, and I saw a tear fell down his cheek I held my hand on.

I wiped away his tear and gave him a loving smile. We had now reached outside and before he put me on the ground next to Kai’s car he pulled me up in a big hug. I hugged him tightly back before he put me down on the ground carefully and open the door for me to get in Kai’s car.

And Sebastian put my school bag on the floor by my feet. I said bye to the guys and Sofia and Kai drove me to school.

It was quiet for a few minutes in the car then Kai took my left hand in his and kiss my hand. “Baby girl, please be safe for all of us, seeing you yesterday, I have never been more scared in my life” he said in a low voice mixed with worry and sadness.

I feel so bad for making them worry about me so much, I always want to see them happy. “I’m sorry you had to see that, I never want to worry you guys! You all always bring so much joy to my dark life Kai so I always want to give that joy back to you all, not fill it with horrible memories” I said with a low voice looking down on my lap where our hands were joined together.

“Bunny you have nothing to be sorry about! That was not your fault! Honestly I am glad it was a accidental pocket dial!” he said with a stronger voice now looking back and forth from the windshield and me.

“Kai?” I asked carefully. “Yes baby?” he raised his eyebrow looking a me for a second again before looking back at the road. “Did my parents see you guys by any chance when you got home to me yesterday?” I asked still looking at his hand in my lap.

“No, I don’t think they were home when we got there, the entire house was empty” He said not looking at me at all when he said that.

“Thank you for coming to my rescue yesterday! I’m so grateful I have you all in my life, and I hope that will never change! Being with you all somehow everyday we can, means the world to me and you all means more to me than life itself” I said still looking down on our joint hands.

I felt the car come to a stop and I see we are at the school’s parking lot. He squeezed my hand a little before letting go of my hand and put in on right cheek making me look at him.

Chapter 20.

“We will all always be in your life baby Bunny! And you will never be able to get rid of me. He said before leaning in first kissing me forehead, then he kissed the corner of my mouth.

He caressed my right cheek with his thumb before he gave me a smile which I returned. “Be careful! Do not overdo anything, and don’t hesitate to call!” He said, I nodded my head grabbed my backpack and open the door.

I got out and before I closed the door I looked back at Kai, “see you later Kai” Then I closed the door, turned around and headed for the school door and my locker.

It’s not much interesting happening at school today so far, I’m currently in my third period having this boring math lesson. It’s boring because I already know it, when I have free time at home I always prepare myself for subject we will have.

That way I also don’t need to worry about not paying attention in class if the pain I get from beatings the night before take more of my focus. Suddenly its a knock on the door and a police officer is coming in to

the classroom.

Everyone around me start to silently talking to their friends and the police officer walks up to my math teacher, whisper something in her ear. She look up at the man and then nod her head.

“Betty Anderson, can you please pack your things honey, this officer need to talk to you.” she said looking at me with a small smile. I nodded my head then started to pack my school stuff and everyone was looking

at me we shock on their faces.

They all know that I’m a straight A student getting perfect score on all my tests, never do anything to anyone and never break school rules. I don’t get why the police officer want to talk to me.

I walk up to the officer. He holds out his hand to shake mine.“Hello Betty, my name is officer Payne, I’m here to bring you to the station. And don’t worry, you are not in trouble!” Officer Payne said to me with a

smile on his face which I returned.

“Nice to meet you Officer Payne” I said with a small smile and he showed the way with his other hand to go out the door, so I went out the door before him and he was apologizing to the teacher and the rest of the class for the interruption.

Then he came out in the hallway and closed the door to the classroom. “Do you need to go by your school locker before we go?” He asked with a polite smile. “Yes please if it isn’t to much trouble?” I asked politely

back.

“Not at all, you just show me the way and we will get everything you need from there.” he answered still smiling, and I answered with a quick nod. We went to my locker and I got my backpack from it, put away some of the books and got some other stuff from my locker.

Then we headed out and towards the police station. Officer Payne told me to sit in the passenger seat since he’s not taking me in for any wrongdoings. And I was grateful for that because the whole school was looking at me throug the windows.

Chapter 20.

The car ride was pretty quiet, officer Payne asked a few question like how I liked school and such but other then that it was just a comfortable silent in the car.
