Chapter 29.
Kai’s pov
While we were standing there cleaning off blood from our hands and faces everyone in my team got a notification on our phone. We all looked at it and saw it was Bunny that was writing in the ‘family‘ group chat we have together.
I felt a smile grow on my face and Don came over to me asking what’s going on, we explained to him it was out group chat with Bunny and he was wondering if he could see.
I turned my phone in an angle so he could see her first message. He kept looking at the conversation between us in the group chat, and at the last message she sent, he had a sad expression on his face.
I can’t even begin to imagine the sorrow he most feel knowing his own sister is scared of them, not that she is scared of them personally but scare of the thought that they don’t want her. That they will think she is a burden to them.
Me:
(Bunny, I’m sure they will love you more than life itself! You are so amazing inside and out! Always remember that! And you will see us again, we will make it happen! I can never imagine they will turn out to be like those bastards that have put you through hell for so long! You have gotten away from that, and now life can only go one way for you and that is up! And you know we are only one message away, you can talk to us! You know you will always remain our baby sister even if we are not blood related! We have chosen you to be our sister and that means for life! Give them a chance bunny! And we all will miss you so much, but I believe we will be able to see each other again!) I sent her, and the rest of the group said (yeah what he said)
Bunny:
(I love you guys <3) She said and we told her we love her too!
Angelina’s pov
After my messages with my group, I leaned back in the chair I was sitting on and thought about what Kai said. How things could only go up from now on. He is right, I can’t judge people before I get to know them.
If they have not given me any reason not trust them, I should trust them. And if I go into this with my mind already blocking off all possibilities to what could be something great, I won’t get far in life.
After being deep in thoughts for a/while, I took a deep breath and slowly let it out. I saw Derick look at his phone then back up at me.
“Are you ready Angelina? Your family is on their way up now.” He said with a voice that he somehow was able to fill with care and love,
I looked at him for a bit, “It will take some getting used to.. Angelina” I said still looking at him but I

couldn’t help the sadness in my voice. I love the name. Angelina is a beautiful name, I just don’t feel I’m beautiful enough to have such a name.
“Angelina, your name is just as beautiful as you are, and the little we have talked here today I know you have a beautiful heart as well.” Derick said as he stood up and walked over to me, and he was saying it with so much care.
Then I heard the knock on the office door. Officer Payne’s head popped in, “They are waiting in the
conference room, currently signing the legal guardian paperwork” He said before turned around and closed the door.
“Angelina, are you ready to meet your family again? They have been waiting for years to have you back with them!” he said holding a hand on my right shoulder.
I just gave him a nod and he guided me out of the office and towards the conference room I could see four people sitting at the table but due to the glass I couldn’t see them more then blobs if that make sense?
Derick open the door, one female officer walked out with a lot of papers in her hands, she gave me a sweet smile when she past us. The three man sitting at the table all looked up at me, stood up and walked to the front of the table.
Derick guided me into the room fully so I was standing about one meter away from them.
I had to bend my neck backwards a little to look up on their faces they are so damn tall, I would say between 185-200 cm tall. To the right was the youngest looking of them all he had a diamond shaped face, he had tawny brown short hair, it was shorter on the side and longer on top, he had styled it a bit so it look great. He have ocean blue eyes, he had long lashes, neatly looking eyebrow, narrow but pointy nose, his lips full but not plumpy like mine.
Next to him, and in the middle of them three of them, was the oldest looking one, I guess he is my father. He have the same diamond shaped face, same nose and same hair color as the one to the right. He had golden brown eyes, and when I looked at him in the eyes I could see nothing both love, care and sincerity and maybe a little.. nervousness? Guess he also is nervous about this like I am.
To the left of them all I saw a man that look exactly like me just an older version of me. And not forget a manly version on me. He could have been my twin if we were the same age. They all was so tall, so muscular, and I’m surprised that their armani three dress piece suits didn’t tear apart with the slightest movement.
They had this strong and powerful aura around them that screamed power and respect. If it wasn’t for the sweet smile on all their faces that also reached their eyes I would pee in my pants. I feel so damn tiny compare to them and I have no doubt in my mind that they could break me in half if they tried.
“It good to have you back with us Angelina, we have missed you so much” The oldest one said with so much love and affection. “I am your father Samuel Vitoro, can I gave you a hug?” He looked at me with so much hope in his voice.
I looked at Derick and he gave me a small smile and nod as an encouragement. I looked back at my father

and gave him a small nod. He open his arms, walked slowly towards me, he pulled me in to his chest and carefully hugged me tightly.
And I stiffen but soon I brought my tiny arms around his waist and reciprocated the hug and I heard my father sniffle a little before pulling me away slowly and took a step back.
