Chapter 31.

Daniel’s pov

Leo:

(We will be home in about five and a half hour given or take. Let’s make sure we all can give this Angel the life she deserve! See you all later!)

We all broke out in big cheers around the table, people around us must think we are crazy, we act like we have just won the biggest game of our life. And truth be told we really have, we are getting Angelina back.

After twelve long years she is finally coming home. “She is so beautiful, we will have a big job

keeping people away from her” Ricky said from the other side of the table still looking at the picture

of Angelina sleeping.

“No guys will never be allowed to put their hands on her” Theodore said with a smile on his face. “No

girls either for that matter, if I see a girl treat my baby wrongly, I swear I will make them regret the day they got born” Ricci said.

“We will have to keep her safe, always, from anyone and everyone, she is our baby, our mafia

princess, our sister, it is our job as brothers, it is our duty as leaders, her safety, comfort and

happiness is what matters most to us now” Lukas said proudly. And we all nodded.

We finished our food, and me and Mateo was gonna get everything mom texted me, the others is heading home, gonna start to set her room up and make it ready for her.

We used another hour and a half to get everything on the list, and a few more other things we

thought she might like. Then we also headed home. Both me and Mateo didn’t say much on the ride home we are both so nervous to meet our sister again.

I parked my car and we took everything inside and up to her room, Mateo started to place everything and I set up all the electronics.so she can start using them whenever she want. And before we knew it, Leo sent a massage that their plane had landed and they are on their way home.

Rex’s pov

After my sweet little Angel took the initiate to hug me I couldn’t help myself, I pulled her up, I

finally had my baby back in my arms. And when she said she didn’t want me to let her go my heart

got filled with warmth.

I carried her out to the car and she fell asleep on my lap and I think I was the happiest big brother in the world right now. We reached the airport and when I step out of the car I shifted my hold on

her so I was caring Angel bridal style and walked into the plane.

Chapter 31.

“Son, you can put her down on the couch over there!” my dad said. But there in no way I will let her out of my arms right now. I just looked at him and shook my head.

And I saw dad had this small smile of understanding. I took a seat and made sure that Angel was laying comfortable. She rested her head on my chest and had one head clutching my dress jacket. I rested my head on Angel’s head and I fell asleep even before the plane took off.

I woke up to Angel moving around on my lap, I looked down at her and see she is still sleeping. But it look like she is in pain, and I could feel my entire being filled with worry.

I looked up at dad and Leo seeing they also looking worried. “I think she have a nightmare” I said in a whisper with concern in my voice. “Rex, try to carefully sooth her but no rush movements or she

can end thinking that you are apart of her nightmare and we don’t want that, and keep your voice low but gentle” Leo whispered back.

Angelina’s pov

-Flashback-

I was being tossed into the wall by Victor, then Margareth walked over to me, a knife in her hand.

“Your stupid bitch, you know you are supposed to be home at 8 o’clock. So you have been out whoring around again? You’re a disgrace to this family and I regret ever having you in my life! You are the worst mistake of my life!” Margareth was screaming at me with a knife pointed at my face.

“It’s time you learn from your mistakes and start acting like our daughter.” she kept screaming, she turned me around so I was laying on my stomach on the floor, she used the knife to cut up my clothes then she started to drag it over my back repeatedly.

I tried to hold in my screams as much as I could but some of the cuts were so painful I couldn’t help

myself.

“Angelina, please baby, wake up” I heard a soothing voice through all the screaming and shouting. “Please baby wake up” But I’m already awake, I’m getting my back carved up, not like I will be able to sleep through this.

“Shush shush, Angelina please wake up baby” Then I felt someone carefully petting my head. “I think it’s working Rex, keep trying to wake her up. It pains me to see my baby girl in such state” I heard a

older male voice.

I heard his voice was filled with sadness, worry and concern, and sounded he was in pain too. Wait.. Rex.. I know that name, I heard it today. He is my brother.

He held me on his lap in the car, I must have dozed off and had a nightmare. I gripped tightly on a jacket I’m holding on to pulled my face into his chest. I felt one of his arms tighten gently around me while the other hand is petting my head.

Chapter 31.

“Angel, are you awake?” I heard the soothing voice in my ear. I just slowly nodded my head still not raising my face out of his chest. “Please babe, can you look at me? I want to see you beautiful eyes.” I heard he continued to whisper in my ear.

I slowly nodded again and took a deep breath. I lifted my head and looked up into Rex crystal blue eyes. They were filled with sadness, pain, worry but also a little.. relief?

And it’s definitely gonna take time to get used to looking up at a person that look like me just a male and muscular version, and very short hair. “Are you okay baby sis?” he said with so much care I truly feel safe and cared for!

“I’m sorry if I worried you, it was just a nightmare, nothing to worry about!” I tried to keep my voice as sweet and calm I could. Rex took the hand he had been petting my head at and carefulling putting it on my cheek.

“Angel, You are my baby sister! And you don’t need to hide from me or anyone in the family!” He said with so much promise. It truly hit me deep in my heart, I could not help the small smile that grew on my face!
