No matter how harsh Hattie's words became, Winona didn't even blink.

She kept her eyes fixed on the exit, silently willing Yves Prescott to hurry up and appear.

Seeing that her pointed remarks hadn't drawn any reaction, Hattie glanced back at Xander and Mackenzie, sticking out her tongue. "Ugh, this isn't fun anymore. I couldn't even get a rise out of the drama queen over there!"

"Come on, give it a rest! With your tiny bag of tricks, how could you ever outplay a real schemer?" Mackenzie laughed, ruffling Hattie's hair.

Hattie made a silly face at Winona before turning and scampering away.

Winona remained where she was, unmoved.

But Xander strode over, blocking her path. "You've already got another man, so why are you still here stirring up trouble for Felicity? You just can't let things go, can you? What exactly do you want?"

Winona's lips parted, but her tongue felt thick and clumsy. "I—I—when, exactly, did I ever stir up trouble for Felicity?"

"If it weren't for you, Mr. Nicholson wouldn't have had to blow two million dollars on something worth a fraction of that—just to get Felicity what she wanted! That statue was for her family; and you're saying you weren't trying to cause problems?"

Winona scoffed, shooting back, "What do you know, Xander? You think you understand anything?"

"I may not understand everything, but I can see when you can't stand to see Felicity happy—"

"Get lost!" Winona cut him off sharply.

"What?" Xander blinked, not sure he'd heard right.

But Winona had no desire to waste another word on him.

She spun on her heel and walked straight toward Yves Prescott's car. Even though he hadn't come out yet—and she couldn't very well just climb inside—she'd rather stand in the cold than face Xander or Felicity's other friends for another second.

But before she could reach the car, Claud stepped in front of her.
