Yves Prescott arched an eyebrow, a sly smile playing at his lips as he shot back at Felicity, "Tell me, Miss Shepherd—if Winona is the mistress, what does that make you?"

Felicity's brows knitted together. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Exactly what it sounds like," Yves replied coldly, his gaze sharp and unwavering. There was no hint of patience or forgiveness in his eyes.
