Seeing Frank's ghostly pallor, Felicity wasn't surprised at all. She gave a sad smile. "I'm sorry, Mr. Frank. I didn't tell you before because I didn't want to worry you. With your age and your heart condition, I couldn't bear to burden you with my troubles."
"You know what Winona is like," she continued softly. "She knew Julian didn't love her—even their own child doesn't love her. Julian and Tiana both love me, but she refused to let go, dragging it on until now. Finally, Tiana protested so strongly that she had no choice but to agree to a divorce."
Frank stared, speechless.
He felt a sharp pang in his chest, a feeling like his heart was failing. He pointed a trembling finger at Felicity. "You... you..."
Seeing his distress, Felicity rushed to his side. "Mr. Frank, don't be upset. My suffering is almost over! Julian and Winona are getting divorced this morning, and he and I will be married this afternoon. After that, we won't have anything to do with her ever again."
Frank's lips turned a pale, purplish blue.
"Mr. Frank, what's wrong? Are you upset for me? Oh, God... Doctor! Doctor, help! My uncle needs help, Doctor!" Felicity frantically pressed the emergency call button by the bed.
Within seconds, doctors and nurses rushed into the room. They quickly wheeled Frank toward the emergency room, an angry doctor snapping at her, "His heart is still weak! You're family—you can't keep upsetting him! Don't you care if he lives or dies?"
"I'm so sorry, Doctor, I was wrong. Please, you have to save him," Felicity sobbed, following them.
The doctors pushed Frank into the emergency room. Worried sick, Felicity slumped into a chair in the waiting area, too consumed with anxiety to even think about checking the live stream.
