The Billionaire Ex-Wife and the Beggar He Became novel Chapter 86

"Seriously, is that woman a sales rep or something?"

"Look at what she's wearing, that tacky name tag around her neck—she just screams door-to-door saleswoman. What I can't figure out is how someone like her managed to sneak into such a high-profile event."

"She's probably here to flirt with some rich guy, hoping to get lucky. Everyone in this room either has money or connections. I've heard stories—these saleswomen will do anything to sell their cheap knock-off shampoo. Some of them even sleep with men old enough to be their grandfathers just to make a sale!"

Felicity shot Winona a look of utter disdain. "Idiot."

She didn't even consider Winona competition—Winona was just some pathetic, trashy woman who thought that bearing Julian a child gave her the right to act out and make a scene.

Winona never failed to use the lowest, most shameless tricks to push Julian's buttons, always crossing the line in the most ridiculous ways.

Pathetic, really.

But even if Winona was that stupid, she had no business causing trouble at the Shepherd family's birthday celebration.

And Felicity wasn't about to let her off easy. Pulling out her phone, she quickly dialed a number. "Security? There's a con artist here at the manor—she's wandering around trying to scam people. I suspect she's a fraud. Please come immediately and escort this trespassing woman to the police station. Have the authorities arrest her for attempted fraud."

Arrest her as a con artist?

Winona's head snapped up, eyes blazing at Felicity. That was ruthless.

But Felicity didn't flinch—not even a flicker of anger or malice crossed her face. She looked at Winona the way one might glance at a stain that needed wiping away, nothing more.

Just then, Old Mrs. Shepherd entered the room, surrounded by a small entourage. Supporting her arm was Frank—the same "uncle" Felicity had mentioned earlier, who had flown in from Italy just for the celebration.

"Felly, what's going on?" the old woman asked, her kindly eyes settling on her granddaughter. "Today's supposed to be a joyful day. Why do I hear talk of police and trouble?"
